Hello. First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to click this thread and listen to my suggestion. Now, you may be asking me even before you read my suggestion, "VogelKafig, what do you mean when there are millions of colors for hair already? What do you mean when I already have practically millions of different colors for hats?" Well, that is precisely the issue I want to refer to in this thread.

Many of you who tend to collect hats and use them in your outfits may notice that, (maybe), the color-scheme seems not-quite-right; perhaps it's a cap that doesn't match your jacket, a tie with colors that don't really correspond to the rest of your outfit or even a pre-made package, e.g "The Great Bloxini" not matching your hat, visor, etc. As a matter of fact, this has, many times, occurred to me. So, to eliminate the problem, I have thought of the following.

Say that you wanted to color a hat or package specifically for an outfit. Take for instance someone who wears the "Gentleman Robot" and "Golden Gear Bow Tie". Once they saved all of those hats and body parts to an outfit, they'd then have the option (through a GUI like the in-game purchase window) to color a) the outfit in general or b) a specific part of that outfit - that is, for a very small robux fee. The color would remain unlocked, though, and this would apply to every outfit.

TL;DR: Allow changing hats and packages' colors in outfits so that you can match the color schemes or do the opposite for a few robux each.

I can see this either;
a) Being ridiculously hard to implement due to the sheer number of hats on ROBLOX and
b) Looking really bad on some hats in general...

Hello,

I have received your reply and will get to clarifying point A. By the entire "color changing" part, I really just meant coloring something using Studio's colors - not necessarily manually coloring things in one, huge database. Although, with point B, I can understand the feature looking bad on some hats; especially with just plain colors. With your second opinion I concur, albeit this feature still being capable of looking good on hats. Thank you for pointing out the missing explanations and I hope to see you around.

Oh, I assumed you weren't referring to a 277 277 277 color database, I figured it would just be base colors, which, even then, a 100,000+ (Most likely significantly more...) which would have to be modified entirely so only a specific color scheme can be applied. And, even then, some hats with similar meshes and color schemes (which there are plenty of, to be honest) could be recolored to look like another hat.

While I will agree, this would be a really cool thing to implement, but it would have probably been better if it were introduced when ROBLOX were newer but, honestly, I don't know if it could be implemented otherwise.

Oh, and good work maintaining your formalities. ROBLOX will wear that down.

He's not the first and hopefully, he won't be the last.
Most of us have stopped caring by now.

Hello,

While I agree that this could have been implemented earlier, I have also come up with a slight alternative. Perhaps the colors for hats would come out at one-month intervals after the release of the hats themselves, just to keep the necessary work at a reasonable but not too strenuous level. At the same time, there could also be a "color-able" tag on each hat that that option was available. Thank you for your constructive criticism about my idea and I hope to see you around.
