Wired has a better response time
Don't buy wireless gaming keyboards/mice, they use up batterys faster than you can say "pls gaben no"
And remember, respect is everything! |

@MrEWhite
So the biggest differences are, no batteries and better response time? |

along with price too (usually)
just get a cm storm devastator if you're on a budget or get a nice mechanical keyboard if you have the money |

The response time usually isn't huge with wireless stuff (a few milliseconds), so if you're not a perfectly timed video game player, it won't throw you off.

The response time isn't that huge. Personally, I don't notice a difference.
If you have enough AA batteries, go wireless. It's a lot better than digging through a mess of wires to untangle your mouse. |

Wireless isn't a new technology any more, so they're about the same. I like wireless mice, controllers, and headsets, but I don't care about my keyboard since I don't move it around.
Wireless gives you move space to move around and i don't like wires |

Just cable manage your wires. If you have a laptop bring them around the back. Wireless is expensive and usually useless if you stay on your desk.

Wireless costs about the same besides batteries
And if you're using batteries you should use rechargeables |

I don't like wireless mice.
Sometimes my mouse drops and the wire keeps it from hitting the ground. |

"wireless things use up batteries so fast" depends on which brand of wireless keyboard/mouse if it's logitech the battery life is like 10 months if it's a gaming brand it will last like 10 days |

I always have rechargeables fully charged so its never a problem, but you alkaline peasants have to deal with it |

I'd suggest getting wired if it's an option. Most people will say that they have a better response time, but unless you get a Ps2 keyboard (the old style with the rounded plug, not the console) then the response time with modern wireless technology is pretty much exactly the same as wired.
That being said, with wireless you have to occasionally change batteries or charge, which can be a pain to deal with. Ultimately it comes down to this: if you want the convenience of wireless and are willing to put up with the chance that the batteries may die in the middle of something you're doing, they are a viable option.
Personally I can't deal with that, so I opt for wired. Wired also tends to have better quality. There are pretty much no mechanical wireless keyboards, for example, and almost every high end gaming mouse are wired.
Quality vs convenience. |

| batteries aren't that bad to deal with , if you're angry about having to swap out batteries every other week then you have a problem lol |

I just find them annoying to deal with. I play a lot of games, and my PC is on almost constantly, so what might take most people a few weeks to burn out batteries, I'd do in a few days.
But the main thing for me is quality. Like I said, there's almost no wireless mechanical keybords, and IDK what I'd do without my Corsair K65, and my Deathadder is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. |
