The list below shows the current leaders in the USMC and the responsibilities they must have. Every 6 months, these positions (with the exception of the CMC) can be applied for.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
-The Commandant of the Marine Corps Current Holder: General NoelsNook
The Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) is the highest-ranking officer in the United States Marine Corps and is a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The CMC designates Marine personnel and resources to the commanders of Unified Combatant Commands. The Commandant performs all other functions prescribed in Section 5043 in Title 10 of the United States Code or delegates those duties and responsibilities to other officers in his administration in his name. As with the other joint chiefs, the Commandant is an administrative position. The responsibilities of the Commandant are outlined in Title 10, Section 5043 the United States Code and is "Subject to the authority, direction, and control of the Secretary of the Navy". As stated in the U.S. Code, the Commandant shall preside over the Headquarters, Marine Corps, transmit the plans and recommendations of the Headquarters, Marine Corps, to the Secretary and advise the Secretary with regard to such plans and recommendations, after approval of the plans or recommendations of the Headquarters, Marine Corps, by the Secretary, act as the agent of the Secretary in carrying them into effect, exercise supervision, consistent with the authority assigned to commanders of unified or specified combatant commands.
-The Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps Current Holder: General REBELxKEVON
The Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps (ACMC) is the second highest-ranking officer in the United States Marine Corps, and serves as a deputy for the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC). Before 1946, the title was known as Assistant to the Commandant. The Assistant Commandant is nominated for appointment by the CMC. In the event that the Commandant is absent or is unable to perform his duties, the Assistant Commandant assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Commandant. For this reason, the Assistant Commandant is appointed to a rank equal to the sitting Commandant; since 1971, each Assistant Commandant has been, by statute, a four-star general, making it the most common rank held among Marines serving this position. Additionally, he/she may perform other duties that the CMC assigns to him/her. Historically, the Assistant Comandant has served for two to three years. In recent decades, the Assistant Commandant has frequently been a Marine aviator.
-Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Current Holder: Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Nateboxx33
The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps is the ninth and highest enlisted rank in the United States Marine Corps. Just above Sergeant Major, and equal in grade, although the two have different responsibilities. Sergeant major is both a rank and a military billet, and serves as the unit commander's senior enlisted advisor and to handle matters of discipline and morale among the enlisted Marines. The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps is chosen by the Commandant of the Marine Corps to serve as his advisor and is the preeminent and highest ranking enlisted Marine with a protocol equivalency of a Lieutenant General. Responsibilities of the SMMC include rank handling within the enlisted area, advising the CMC on enlisted matters, and reporting incidents that may occur within the enlisted positions.
-Marine Brigade Commander Current Holder: General RyanneSkye
The Marine Brigade Commander commands 800 to 3,000 Marines. A brigade headquarters commands the tactical operation of two to five organic or attached combat battalions. Normally commanded by a Lieutenant General with a Sergeant Major as the senior NCO, brigades are employed on independent or semi-independent operations. Basically, this position gets the things the CMC wants done.
-Commanding Staff Current Holders: Lieutenant General ZimmiaAwell, General Davidik02, Lieutenant General Thomsenkite123, and Colonel Vgonnella
The Command Staff is the basis of what happens in the Marine Staff. These individuals make the USMC run how it should. These users have very demanding positions due to the fact they handle with all the promotions, who gets promoted, and who gets certain awards and medals. These positions are chosen by the ACMC and approved by the CMC. These users are wheels that make the USMC roll.
