Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are nice, but Avast really is the way to go.
I would wait until we can get it fixed then reinstall. |

| Norton has typically been behind the game as far as antiviruses are concerned. Then again, I haven't personally used it in many years, so it might be better now. |

@Fore I scanned about folder with 50 fake AVs and Malicious stuff (Trojans/Worms) and it did detect 25 of them. |

Malwarebytes isn't really an antivirus program; it's more of a malware detector that can run along with an antivirus program.
Kaspersky is excellent, but it can be a resource hog if you have the complete suite. On that note, I'd also recommend Webroot, nice and speedy AV that doesn't compromise much. |
