So I was on the sidewalk, walking to school.
The wind was pretty bad, and reached 70 MPH.
Due to the high speed, I started to be dragged off the sidewalk.
Right before I was going to fall on the street with a car coming, the winds died down a little.
wow..

@Dan What I did was walk sideways against the wind so it would have an angle that could let it brush off me.
It worked with 65 MPH winds but when it reached 70 I just couldn't.
Don't forget that it rained too, the rain went through kids heavy coats. o.e |

"70 mph"
The school must have the mentality of the public school I used to go to, as they would still drive buses in blizzard conditions. |

That story really blew me away. But seriously, I'm sure that experience left you short-winded.

Happened to me last year. Was walking home. Had a bad day. Just stumbling along. 100km/h winds. Getting blown around. Decided that I should just keep my head held high and pick myself up. Just then, huge gust of wind blew, would've knocked me into the road. Bus goes by at full speed. Crap, man.
Then 5 minutes later a giant branch blew off a tree and nearly knocked me out. The world was trying to kill me that day. |
