Alright, so, I have a HP Laptop, using Google Chrome (desktop).
Every time I play a game, I have to download ROBLOX. I had ROBLOX before, but had to uninstall it, then try to install it again.
When I attempt to do so, it says "Configure ROBLOX" or something, then a message pops up saying "Please close all instances of Google Chrome before continuing."
I only have one Google browser up, Skype, and this ROBLOX icon downloading.
If I click the one where it says ROBLOX downloader thingy should be loading soon, if it is not, click here. I click it, and it just does the same download, and the same response, "Please close all instances of Google Chrome before continuing."
I really need help with this, my friends want me to play with them, Egg Hunt 2015, and with Spring Break coming up in 4 days around here, I'd have alot of time on my hands.
Please, someone, help me with this.

| This issue I've responded lots of times usally people just sart saying redownload roblox or spam downloading it or restart your computer lots of times or check your computer for malware or check if your hard drive is not broken if none of that does not work then This is what I know from my roblox experience before becoming a technical issue author I studied lots of roblox on roblox wiki and roblox wikia And I remember around 2 years ago about reading a rare ban it currently states if you can not download roblox or play a roblox game that tells you error 0x1 Error it means you are banned a ban during updates usally A player who creates 18+ content will receive this type of ban. A 0x1 error is displayed when trying to connect to a game. Due to ROBLOX updates, this type of ban is uncommon.For evidence of information go to http://roblox.wikia.com/wiki/Ban and it currently states what I said. |

| Zombi, people have been getting different things like protocal requests and a bunch of other silly things like cant connect. Just wait. If it continues for a few days, restart your computer. But be patient for them to possibly fix it. If this doesnt help, open up your game through studio. |

I haven't had any protocal requests, this hasn't been able to put me into any games. This has been like this since last week, and I have restarted and shut down my computer.
This glitch also affects studio, meaning I can't open it, since ROBLOX won't download. |

| Okay, do you have IObit malware fighter on your computer? Sometimes that blocks games. It did that when my brother wanted to play garrys mod a couple of years ago. |

I have the same problem! I downloaded roblox 8 times, still not working. I press cancel to the "please close all instances of Google Chrome before continuing" and then it goes to configuring roblox. When I think it actually loads and lets me play, I click okay on any game and still send me back to the beggining that I have to install it all over again!

| Same for me except I use firefox too so that's a helper but not when it comes to Roblox+ |

If you have an anti-virus check your pc. If your anti-virus will not find anything bad just restart your computer.
If problem continues check the error code and then say it on this post. You can see in roblox wiki |
