| if they didn't need the install then we'd be getting a lot of double/triple discs which became more common towards the end of xbox 360's life |

Another thing is I can fit a console in a small box. Aka bring it to a friend really quick. You can't really move a PC, where you plug it in is almost permanent. |

@stealth COUGH mini itx COUGH x2.
I mean really, they've made Mini-ITX cases with handles to make it easy so you CAN bring it to a friend's house or a LAN party.

why would you want to bring a pc or a console to a friends house in the first place just to play for a few hours? if it was like a NES or something like that i could understand, but if you're implying something like a 8th or 7th gen console, then why not play online? |

You can technically move a PC, but it'd take like 10 minutes plugging everything out, then plugging everything in. Hence, almost permanent.
Oh wait, I can't mention a flaw on PCs as it's Treason and against the law of PC Master Cult. Sorry, almost forgot. |

do you really lack the mental capacity to plug in hdmi cord and a kb/m or controller?

. . .If my friend can't afford a $300 console. Or spent money on a different console. Then I bring my console that I spent money on, and we have both consoles right there, my friends, and mine. |

I can shut down, unplug, and move my computer downstairs before plugging it in in 20 minutes. That is not time-consuming in any way, and does not constitute a permanent placement in any way.
Mentioning flaws with the PC is fine. It's just that you outright deny any flaws for consoles, pull absurd strawman arguments, and exaggerate those PC flaws when you do.

I nkow you can plug in a controller in a PC, I know local multiplayer exists on a PC. My point was that Consoles are much easier and faster to move than a PC. Yes, there are laptops as well, but for a gaming one you'd need like $600. |

I can move a console in about 5 minutes. I could mention every single pro and con if you want, but that'd take forever. I was pointing out that a console is faster to move than a PC. That's it.
Yes PCs are generally better, but cost more money. If you want gaming, just gaming, you get a console.
It's not building the PC that's hard, it's finding the parts. |

Okay....I legitimately do not know what a mini itx is. Explain? And try to be honest about it. |

PC's are cheaper in the long run. We've been over this.
And yes, the console is easier to move. Not that I have any idea why you'd bring a console to a friend's when there's already one there, though. Unless you're going to sit there playing singleplayer, but why would you go to the trouble of moving it together to play singleplayer?

then invite him over to your house?
and i'm guessing you're going to need an extra tv for that second console that you needed to bring to over? |

Mini-ITX is smaller then other motherboard types, so hence, they make Mini-ITX cases that are smaller and lighter to fit these motherboards.

. . . Can we please just agree to disagree. We both have opinions.
We've been over this 10,000 times 10,000 times over. Has it ever actually ended? No. Did any opinions change? No. Was there even a point? Nope.
It's the games, not what you play them on, besides, wouldn't you rather be having a blast with new games than getting all salty and even grumpy at times in this cancerous community?
Gaming is a hobby. Not a lifestyle. The point is to have fun, if you'd rather debate for 10,000 years so be it, but I'm gonna go play my games now. Enjoy your endless bickering. |
