not even just talking about fangirls raving about zayn leaving one direction. i'm talking about people who cry and get depressed over their favorite bands breaking up or their favorite artist retiring from music. yeah it's disappointing, i'd be disappointed if sia quit music or if radiohead broke up indefinitely (thom has been elsewhere but the band is still together), but crying over it is ridiculous.

i dont understand crying
but it really sucks to have one of your favorite bands stop making music, like, that's it. all the songs you have eagerly listened to, that's all that's left of them
and all there will be |

some people are more prone to crying for one
secondly because having someone or something that's effected your life significantly suddenly not be available anymore (at least when it comes to new content) is a big thing |

lol the biggest impact musicians have on your life is the compositions of sounds that they performed that you love to listen to. your life wouldn't change very much if there was no music.

i'm pretty sure i listen to "real" bands and artists, since they're in the music business, and release products that are under music, that are filled with tracks that have rhythm, melody, and lyrics.

'Real bands' isn't the right word cause of course every band is real :P
I mean the non mainstream bands, the ones who actually put effort into their songs about their life and when they 'quit' a band, won't come back in 3 months just for money |

i don't know why that would make a difference. either way, plenty of the artists i listen to have emotional and meaningful songs.

Mainstream - Zayn leaving, excluding the fan girls, 1D really did not make a huge deal about it Non - Disturbed breaking up, they're talking about how they want to get the band back together and are in other small bands 'for now' |

I laugh when people complain about Zayn leaving. But if someone in their favorite band left, they'd be quite sad as well. It's the same thing, just different tastes.
But I do agree, crying over someone you've likely never even met or seen in person is dumb. Especially the #Cut4Zayn thing lol |

A matter of fact, I take bad what I said
I really didn't care when Joey Jordison was fired from Slipknot But I was upset when Paul Gray from Slipknit died because, well, he's dead |

A lot of people use bands and artists as a way to help them overcome sadness, especially when it's hard for them to find hope. They "make such a big deal" over them because they're passionate about what they do.
Please, don't putting the people who cry about their bands and artists down. You never know what those people are going through until you really get to know them better. |

| Just because a band is mainstream doesn't mean that they don't put hard work into making music. Imagine Dragons is a mainstream band that puts a lot of hard work into their music and have plenty of good songs, same with One Direction. I personally like all genre's of music, but it all depends on people's taste. And don't say that a certain band is not a "real band" because that is my biggest pet peeve. |
