I mean whats happening to the character yes but the whole thing over all not really. There's another book it reminds me more of that come out in 1987 but I forget what it is.

| Battle Royale only has one book BTW and i finally watched the movie and was trying to expect the same thrill as THG but i didnt! The movie was stupid and g0ry in dumb ways, and why would those cowardly military guys make those kids do all the work? BR didnt even have a thrill or excitement! BR is so so different from THG! Honestly The Hunger Games did not copy Battle Royale, the only thing that is similar is "kids fighting to death" |

"Messed up government" common is dystopian fiction "le edgy rebel teen gril" Applies to Katniss but not Tris "living in underdog district" Applies to Katniss but not Tris "shoehorned love story" Shoehorned in hunger games, vital plot of the divergent series. "causes a rebellion because potatoes" The protagonist goes against the antagonist. common. "bad role model for society" Dystopian fiction. Unless you mean the protagonist. "villain does everything they can to capture them" The villan goes against the protagonist "they have 'le advansed sekurity'" It is the future of course the security is advanced "protagonist still escapes" The protagonist wins, who would have thought |

I mean the only thing they really have in common is the generic YA factor

"common is dystopian fiction" so? "Applies to Katniss but not Tris" applies to both "Applies to Katniss but not Tris" applies to both again "Shoehorned in hunger games, vital plot of the divergent series." you could have written around both, would be slightly more difficult but still possible in divergent "The protagonist goes against the antagonist. common." still a rebellion because potatoes though neither wanted to start or lead a rebellion but suddenly both of them want the blood of the government "Dystopian fiction. Unless you mean the protagonist." bad cliche needs to be broken "The villan goes against the protagonist" k "It is the future of course the security is advanced" but the secondary protagonist can break the other protagonist out of "le advanced security" with a revolver and a prayer "The protagonist wins, who would have thought" they escape pretty much unscathed, and spare me your "psykolugikul trumau ecksdee"

| Um the love story actually WAS VITAL to THG, if katniss and peeta didnt fake their love in The Hunger Games, they both would have probably been dead and the rebellion would have never started! |
