The empirical inquiry systematically conducted by countless scientists clearly displays that dogmatic claims of personal gods who intervene in life through prayer are wrong. The most irrational example of these beliefs are when athletes pray to their personal deity wishing for luck in scoring a goal at a game. At the same time a tsunami ravages Malaysia and destabilizes the region. The local populations loses access to clean water. Most people can go two days without water. The international community will spend weeks sifting through the rubble looking for the victims of the tragedy. The implication is that the universe is not governed by a personal God and our personal beliefs and values do not impact our reality. We can make claims of value on events that occur but they will occur regardless according to the laws of physics that govern the natural phenomena that science can observe.

Sin just means a transgression against divine law and since I have already established moral relativism across cultures it is clear that sin is a meaningless concept for this debate. You cannot justify disaster because our species violated a law of your deity. You are justifying the indiscriminate destruction of whole populations of cities to justify your world view and deity.

And empiricism is rational. Everything that is true should be able to be explained through empirical evidence. You talk like it is bad to think for your self. By think for yourself I mean trust your senses and reality which all point toward the irrationality of Christianity's dogmatic belief system.

In every country it is legal to murder someone. It is called moral relativism because it depends on the circumstances of the action. Soldiers are instructed by their leaders to murder perceived enemy combatants. That is considered perfectly acceptable. The difference is that society has created laws to govern social behavior to ensure the civility of people in social situations.

First, this offends me. Second, dude, trying to deny a God that is obviously smarter than you is stupid. He has greater intentions. You just do not understand. Also, if people didn't die, there would be over population. I mean, death is still sad, but, I mean, natural disasters cannot be controlled by God. That is the devil's doing. God does not control horrid things. God is real, and God is smarter than Steven Hawkins. He is, most likely, the smartest person on Earth. Our God understands us. He loves every single one of us. It makes him sad that you deny him.
