I'm not completely sure what to get. I'm using EVGA GTX 970, and Core i5 4690K 16GB RAM. I'm trying to go for a motherboard between $100 and $140 USD. What's the best one to go for? And I plan on overclocking sometime in the future.

Gaming motherboards are just an excuse to markup its price. The only reason I'm considering one is because it has 10 USB ports.

Well.. I'm not trying to invest in motherboards. I'm just trying to find a pretty good one, that will allow overclocking. But I don't want to buy one just to figure out it's bad.

Don't mind the motherboard. Here's how to have your gaming life set:
Step 1. Go to an electronic store.
Step 2. Buy an Alienware Gaming PC.
Step 3. Enjoy your life. |

If you're using an Intel chip just make sure it's a Z97 board made by a reputable company.

@Mad that's a horrible idea. Alienware is very overpriced, and for the same price, I can build much better. However, when I make more money, I may buy an Alienware laptop.

If you are overclocking go for a Z97 chipset. I suggest using PCPartsPicker, and checking the reviews on each board.
