It shall contain various aspects of the original plot, including a boss fight where you can only see the bosses eyes (Cthulhu's) and lightning is the only source of light, which reveals his body every time it strikes. (Kind of similar to this boss fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87nkWPZ_UMI) The plot will contain you adventuring through the depths of the ocean, in search of the legendary city of R'lyeh. Once you find the abandoned, rotting away castle, after travelling miles down in the dark ocean, you will then find out Cthulhu has escaped from his imprisonment for his own evil purposes. The game will also feature you collecting numerous objects and you being able to explore and do quests for villagers on land, too.

There's no boss fight, as far as I'm aware, in Lovecraft's stories, but I want the players to experience a grand finale enhanced by dynamic lighting, sound effects, and a massive c-framed monster. I personally think it will engage the players slightly.

Not to be a party pooper, but I think you might wanna go with something else than Lovecraft, then.
Watch the following to see why. Also, it's a great channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DyRxlvM9VM
If you DO choose to go with Cthulhu, Dark corners of the earth did it pretty well. I suggest taking inspiration from that.
Also, GL;HF |

| Yeah, just to clarify. It's not that I don't think the idea isn't exciting, it's just that I think it will be no small challenge. So good luck |
