5'11 and 135 lbs. i run XC and track, so i burn off so many calories all the time i've been eating a bunch, but i've been trying to turn it into muscle by working out. i can lift 70 or 80 now
any tips |

Get lots of protein Lift a lot-use machines to start off, they target specific muscles and are a lot faster to start off with than free weights. Don't skimp leg day If something hurts, stop doing it. You'll lose more muscle in the time it takes for an injury to heal than you would have possibly gained for finishing a rep hurt.

If you're trying to gain weight use protein.
Use proteins that are for post workouts----- |

Actually if you eat a lot of fatty AND carby foods, you'll gain fat. But if you only eat one or the other you won't gain weight.

If you're trying to gain muscle then do this:
Breakfast: Eggs Daily Sausage 2 days a week Bacon 1 day a week
Lunch: Apple Bagel Spoonful of Peanut butter
Dinner: Fist sized steak Kale or Roasted Brussels Sprouts Carrots
Don't eat/Drink: -Milk(unless its a component of a protein shake) -Citrus(makes you crash very quickly) -Bread(makes you crash very quickly)

kroger and walmart sell steak for pretty cheap
And just a spoonful of peanutbutter. Don't eat bread, you'll gain bad weight and the carbs will make you crash much more often.

i know it's good to eat healthy foods to gain weight ..but at my weight, do u think it would be better to just eat sh3ttons of food, anything i find?
also i don't like steak how about chicken and turkey?

Go for red meat preferably but chicken works.
And don't just eat anything. If you eat junk food you'll get fat straight up.

ok and i'm going to start bringing jars of peanuts to school to eat since they have protein maybe i should bring some grain too like granola? |
