| I was trying to make a block rotate in place from it's current rotation to the rotation of another block in workspace, but I had a problem where it would reach halfway through and do a crazy flip before finally easing to the destination. I am not sure if this problem has anything to do with the subject, but someone suggested I research it. To my knowledge, if one isn't experienced with quaternions (like in my case), this is a common mistake when trying to interpolate angles. I think I know the reason (but I would like you guys to clarify and explain more), but I have no idea how to approach this (if possible don't recommend stravant's CFrame interpolator or lego's quaternion interpolator, but you can break it down). |
