What features of Bricktops makes you want to use the map?

The colours r not boring
there invisible ceilings are not a problem
there are a lot of places to utilize rcl tactics
and im just used to using that map because it is the most reliable |

because its the best strategic wise and everything else
you can have some of ur best cqc in the front,
mqc in the tunnels
and lqc in the back
and there are control points n stuff |

Bricktops is #1 rcl map for me
It helps me teach my guys how to flank, and the importance of team work
because if person A is in middle and B is at TNL camping with no one there and the enemy rush A, A will die and B will get flanked |

Lots of separate paths and good places to be for support or rushing. But even though there are good spots to support the whole map isn't so open to the point where you can hold 1-2 spots to win like narrowgill. There are different spots which are secluded, so you don't have to handle everything at once. There also isn't that much height advantage, excluding when in cqc height generally doesn't mean much. Lastly there are lots of places which are open and compatible with different camera angles/sizes. (oh, and also variation in gameplay for different areas)
For example, Tunnel is good for rushing due to it's complete seclusion and how narrow it is.
Tunnel Outskirts is great for holding tunnel because you can support mid and the lack of cover keeps most from rushing
In contrast Cave is meant to be solid, due to it's ramp and being open to everywhere else allows people to assist it from various places.
Zigzag is for flanking cave and mid, and used to popshot people who cross from cave/mid.
Mid is necessary to avoid being rushed, generally consisting of using ramp and support of both tunnel and cave areas.
To clean up that paragraph:
-Separate paths(for fire) -Good support areas/areas to hold -Multiple spots to hold for meta -Lack of ridiculous height advantage -Open design/compatible with different preferences -Design calls for different types of gameplay |

I don't enjoy pitgrounds as much because of how much open area there is in that one corner, it makes it useless.
At least in bricktops you get closer to using every part of the map. |

Kinda bad maps:
Narrowgill Stonebrick Temple(kinda)
Why?
Narrowgill: Ridiculous Height advantage Lack of variation in gameplay (basically all lqc) Lack of cover Lack of separation
Stonebrick Lack of cover Lack of separation Lack of variation in gameplay (basically all mqc)
Temple: Odd design Height advantage tbh it's more of a king of the hill map than a TDM from how it's designed
oh, also Bastion: Height advantage Overall kinda goofy, idk
Pitgrounds is kinda good Crown isn't bad for for what it's supposed to be Steeltops has more height advantages, so idk Altair's 'Dust' is kinda good, I guess it serves it's purpose but honestly no one uses like half the map

It's the map everyone understands the most but pitgrounds is just as good
Any map that makes RCL less stalematey tho +100000 points I think if we just utilized all the maps the game would be a lot more fun since it'd be a more diverse experience |

| bricktops is perfect for combat, multiple strats and points to hold, requires good teamwork to win, but as much as i love it and how perfect it is it can become boring (ie rcl matches that take 34132421 hours cuz teams just sit back) |
