Heroics Against Evil is a 4e, season based Dungeons and Dragons campaign taking place in the land of Midgard. Midgard is a pre-established realm tailored to a home-brewed realm with lore coming from the core handbooks of D&D.
Midgard is a realm much similar to that of the western Christendom, established small sized kingdoms cover the south with the north controlled by tribal bands who face against the harsh winters as nomadic peoples with dragon gods. To the west, in the phantom islands a red-deviled race known as "Tieflings," live. They have established a trade kingdom upon the small island of Gunt, of the Isles of Berserkers. . Kingdoms fight for power and honor around the world with you being adventurers off for loot and glory; but where you get it, and how it is up to you!
Currently our roster includes Mikey, playing Alana, a elven ranger and bow gal; Gnyrn, the cynical gnoll played by Tim; Tip, the lovable war-forged fighter played by Tails; Obscurum, the warlock "lover of fire and wolves," played by Earth; and Gilmoore, the friends with all human spell-sword (Or whatever it's called in 4e.).
Tikobe is currently joining the jolly band, and we're expanding! Sunday, 9 AM EDT is when we play. If we get more people... Well, I can always open up another group. |

Character concepts appreciated. No need for D&D experience.
For the vet's, we'll be pulling together a H&V guild which will be open play for another wanting. You'll just jump in where-ever we left off, and go about whatever you guys want to do. |

"Gnyrn, the cynical gnoll played by Tim"
First, that's oversimplifying it. Second, I wouldn't describe Gnyrn as cynical, per se. Third, you mentioned that he's a gnoll but you neglected that he's chaotic good and a devout worshiper of Melora, the unaligned god of the wilderness, rather than Yeenoghu. Fourth, you forgot to mention that he's a beastmaster ranger while you were more than happy to mention everyone else's class. Fifth, you completely forgot about Gnyrn's hyena beast companion Braylon. Sixth, it's called a swordmage, not a spellsword. |

| With out heroes, we also have Lucifer, the mother of pups and protector of Obscurum, both a punishment and reward to ease his insanity; Phil, the group chef, and former guard who now travels with the party to repay the debt of them saving his life; and finally Braylon the Hyena, companions of Gnyrn. |

It's cool. I'll link some PDF's. We play 4th edition on roll20: https://app.roll20.net/home/ Best table top online really. And it is text based, so no need for a mic. |

| Mas, we know. Someone just decided to use the name Midgard for their map and Hwen's using the map that someone called Midgard, which is why in-universe the world is called Midgard. |

| BTW, Tip and Gnyrn are the moral compasses of the party. |

| Indeed. In fact, Gnyrn is only similar to most gnolls in the sense that he's chaotic, but he's far from evil. Think of him as a drizzt do'urden type character, if you're familiar with those books. |

The party has three ways of saying it. Me states it as H&V, kinda like D&D... Yeah. Then we have the HnV, like DnD. And finally, the most accepted by most people is HAV |

| I'd loved to do this. I've been trying to find a group but I can never find a DM and when I offer to DM, no one wants to play. |

Teh, Masm, Pick, Birm, Vam and Tiny have all expressed interest.
Add that to the current party - Tim, Tails, Mikey, Earth, Tort, Perry - and we'd have an adventuring party of 12, plus two pets (Braylon and Lucifer), plus Phil, plus eventually probably Ismaul will join us at least for that one quest and will probably either die or decide that adventuring is fun and join us, and undoubtedly we'd get more NPCs to add to the party. We already have a small army of 15 people, jesus christ that's a lot. Ordinarily with 12 players I'd host either two or three campaigns. |

Tim, If a wave of interest for Sunday morning becomes existent, I'll split up the group into two games and either run them different times, different days, or get another DM to assist me. I'd hate to see someone play but can't due to something as small as player excess during a session. And I assume some credentials should be in order: Been playing DnD and roleplaying games in general for about 6 years, but grew up on board games. Been DMing for going on three now, and I am pretty confident within 4e. If you have any questions in regards to building your characters, or DnD in general, feel free to ask myself or any other player within the games. Other then 4e, I DM 5e and Call of Cthulhu currently, DMed one time 2e, and played all those, Fiasco and 3.5. I'm decently versed in roleplaying games, and a pretty "chill" DM. |

| Hwen volunteered his services to help people who need help with the rules, but if there's too many people who need help at the same time, it'll be tricky with just one person to help explain the rules, so I guess I'll be a backup volunteer or something then. Contact me if you need any help making your character, just give me the basic concept and I can attempt to give statistics to the character as best I can. |
