age usually coincides with validity so you are more likely to be respected at 17 then you would be at 7 |

yeah, but what about when a 15 year old calls a 12 year old stupid because they dont agree with them, and uses their age as an excuse?

| It gives older people a sense of accomplishment having been born prior to younger people. My brother always pulls the "I was born first!" card. |

I'm 16 and I like Green Day. I don't see how age really affects people's taste in music. If you seriously think that, you must listen to exclusively pop and rap music. |

Because, some people just want to hate on a child to make them feel bad (not always the case). Some people find children.... annoying.
But let's be honest, we've all been a child before. |

Seems like sarcasm. I still don't see how age correlates to listening to Green Day though. My favorite type of music is generally anything rock (aside from emo stuff, which shouldn't even be considered music). I like 1920's rock, 1950's rock, 1970's, 1980's (especially 1980's), 1990's rock, and early 2000's. That includes some of the earlier punk. I don't see how that makes me 12, but whatever. |

because most 12 year olds arent as mature as they think they are and everyone regrets themselves when they were 12
EVERYONE literally 12 is the age where youve probably been extremely cringy at one of it's highest peaks
i can back this up bc when i was 12 i was a brony/pewdiepie fan and i thought that i was tough sht but then i did something called go through puberty

I assume you're talking about 1920's rock. While it was not considered rock at the time (the term "Rock n' Roll" started in the '50s), it was still an older version of rock. |

It's a pretty general thing that youngins don't understand as much as the older kids. Like, they don't know how to drive. But no one talks about driving in OT.

While it wasn't called rock, the genre did exist in that time. |
