Ok well technically I am an adolescent but I am turning 18 in May and I have been thinking.
I have not had any childhood adventures.
I am high energy and I have a very strong adventurous spirit but I have done almost nothing.
Well now is the time, I have finally made a friend and lets see if she can keep up.
I feel so restless, curse you Huckleberry Fin. |

Why not explore?
That can lead you to adventures? |

My parents *cough* mother *cough* have finally been giving me more freedom and now I am able to kind go where I please as long as I am with someone else, thus where my friend comes in.
I am so excited.
I have been cooped up my entire life and it has been frustrating.
Maybe its just my rebellious teenaged spirit talking but
NO LONGER! |

| I threw a stick at a snake in a tree. Balls of steel right there. It died from the fall though. |

@Trex, what kind of snake?
Also, how high was the fall? Snakes are tougher than that. |

| It was a water moccasin. It fell from a tree about a meter away from the water. I am pretty sure it didn't die, but it never resurfaced, and apparently to my friend, if you do something like that to a water moccasin, they get mad. Really mad. And it was a long one also. |

| I haven't had any adventures yet, either. On the other hand, my friend and I are currently arguing about whether we should live in Japan, South Korea, or L.A. We shall adventure after college. :'( |

Shame on you, being childlike is an awesome feature.
Think about it.
Everything is new and you are full of a childlike wonder about things.
I am in no rush to grow up, and I am going to flex my newfound freedoms. |

See now that is kinda what I would have liked and I don't plan on ever getting arrested.

Stay local for now and get a taste of the traveling life before venturing into other countries, see how you hold up to cross country. C: |

| There is a path behind my house that if you go off trail, it goes into the woods. At first, me and my friends started to go in the forest with trash bags and started to pick up trash (And believe me, there was so many trash bags tied at my friends house it was insane). Then we relised that it was a perfect place to get away from the indoors and have peace. We started to make paths with the dirt and more people started to come along. We even made a bridge made out of logs to cross a river. We also put up a tent and one of my friends climbed a tree and set up a swing. At the time we didn't know it was government property, and we started to build on it. Soon after we found out it was government property, we started to say that we should not build any further and we should stay where we were. But the other kids did not believe us and still built on. We had a little war where we started yelling at each over from the other sides of the river. Then shortly after the war ended, two people went in the forest with BB guns, and a person got paranoid and thought they were real guns. The two people were arrested for a few days, and then our friends believed it was government property. Then we just stopped going in the woods. 3 years later and I am thinking of going back into the little civilization we have in the woods, with a air soft gun in my pocket. |

A bit late to change my mind, lol. I'm majoring in English Literature so I can teach English as a foreign language and I'm learning Japanese as well. I'm thinking about double majoring. I would have majored in English Education, but I'm leaving some space in case I want to go to graduate school later. |

| As of now, the state of the little town is very bad. The bridge is to the point where you step on it, it feels wet and it starts to bend in. The swings rope is starting to break, as well with the swing seat and the little tent we had is gone. All of my childhood memories are coming back, and almost half of the people who were with us in the civilization has moved away. So reviving it would be a hard thing to do. |
