I know how to make one player look like builderman or any other player. But the changes only occur when the player dies. How can I make the player immediately get the appearance.
As if he touches a button, he turns into Loleris. |

if the player was selecting from a limited pool of choices
i suppose you could set up a way to store values for hats, shirts, pants etc. for each of the possibilities and then modify the player's appearance (adding/removing hats, changing shirt and pant ids) to make the player's appearance change
frankly that's a lot of work and respawning + teleporting the player is easier |

plr = game.Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(hit.Parent) plr:LoadCharacter() plr.Character.Torso.Position = script.Parent.Position + Vector3.new(0, 10, 10)

@lect
He said without respawning the player - I'm not sure if he meant that respawning + teleporting is fine or not.
imho, though, it's the best idea. |

Imagine that I want to make a gui. You fill in the ID of a player. You click a button 'Get appearance' And boom! You turn into that player you choose. |

I got this part fixed since I already had a list of all possible units in the game with their ID in it so I used that to find the appearance.
Now it loads the character with the new appearance.
Now I need to copy it to game.ServerStorage but it only wants to copy the parts, scripts inside of the character but it does not copy the CharacterMeshes and shirt textures, etc. Any solution for that? |
