i view the work that i do as an extension of who i am rather than the more contemporary view of it as an outside asset to me. it hurts me significantly worse to not do something at all than to do it at poor quality. even when i mean no, if someone asks me to do something and gives me any time to stall ill say yes just to avoid rocking the boat.
i really need to reorient the way i think about all this. |

@fuzzy weebs more just scrape the surface of japanese culture they see the colourful artwork, fantastic animation and well polished games and say that japanese culture is dreamlike and perfect
rather than actually having an understanding of what japanese culture really is, how it kills people with average 12 hour work weeks and a cripplingly deprecating view toward the self, they just see all the pretty pictures it makes and say 'ooh' 'aah' |
