[USA] [CONGRESS]: The Reckless Driving Act
SECTION 1: Introduction SECTION 2: Explanation SECTION 3: Reasoning SECTION 4: Concequenses ___________________________________________________________________________ 1: This bill will be known as "The Reckless Driving Act," which will have to do with the way law enforcement agencies handle reckless driving. ___________________________________________________________________________ 2: When someone is driving recklessly at L.V., there are different levels of reckless driving they should be charged for. This bill, if passed, will proceed with the following:
1) If one is driving, and the driver of the vehicle hits an on-foot citizen at any speed, the driver of the vehicle should be arrested for reckless driving. 2) If one is driving, and the driver of the vehicle runs into another vehicle, either moving or parked, the driver should be arrested for reckless driving. 3) If one is driving, and the driver of the vehicle runs into anything but a citizen or vehicle, (such as a street sign, building, etc.), the driver should be given a one warning, and if caught doing the same thing again, the driver should be arrested for reckless driving. 4) If one is driving, and the vehicle flips due to driving recklessly, the driver should be given one warning, and if caught doing the same thing again, the driver should be arrested for reckless driving. ___________________________________________________________________________ 3: This bill has been made to provide the safety of the citizens of the United States of America that they deserve. There have been lots of different opinions made by the officers of the road, and I've come to make official guidelines so that there are no conflicts that have to do with if the driver should be arrested or not. ___________________________________________________________________________ 4: If a member of law enforcement does not follow these guidelines, the officer is able to be sued by the victim, after going to court - which is the Judge's decision. The officer can be fired or suspended in the team that he was on during the incident, but of course that decision is to be made by a higher rank in the agency. ___________________________________________________________________________

Support And can you add to this bill with illegal parking and conversating/hanging out in the middle of the road. It could be the driver safety or road safety bill. |

Nay.
I suggest that you do more research on reckless driving.
There is a difference between an accident, and reckless driving.
Look up the driving law for the district of Columbia.
District of Columbia DC Code Section 50-2201.04: Reckless Driving
