1. How government should be-
The government needn't be involved in the lives of the people. They don't know more about my life than I do.
Half the bureaus that have been created should be exterminated.
The government's primary function is to protect the people. This essentially means that they are to control nothing outside of national law and the military.
2. Same-gender Marriage-
A highly debated issue, no doubt. My view is that it can't - and shouldn't - be enforced on a national level, nor should it be banned on a national level. The Constitution does not give the government the authority to do anything about it, thus it is left to the states to decide.
3. Concealed/Open Carry Guns
The 2nd amendment clearly states that a militia - "militia" meaning the people of the United States - are to be well armed, be ready to defend themselves and their homeland.
This is something that should be enforced nationally, but it is up to the states to decide between open and concealed carry.
4. Religion
I am a Deist. I believe there is a Deity, but one that does not intervene in daily life. |
