| Let's say I were to build a place that was 10240 x 10240 studs. How much, just in general, could I build on it before it gets too laggy? |

| You should look at apocalypse rising and take into consideration that they also had to optimize for NPCs which use up a significant amount of resources. AR is about 8k studs, if I recall. |

Usually depends on the size of the blocks, materials.
But, all of that entirely depends on the client's computer.
You may be able to run a game with ten thousand parts, meanwhile another person may not.
Size of the blocks and materials matters because they make the computer need to react to many more pixels being changed every second/60

Low detail. You'd need to incorporate tunnels or caves or something and use universe if you want high detail.
