Realistic uniforms consist of taking a picture and copy and pasting it in body parts for the most part.

No, I want to have the most realistic uniforms possible.
My clan's aesthetics are all about realism.
EVERYTHING I have done is all as realistic as the garbage ROBLOX engine allows me to make.
It's realistic in art style, but blocky in building style.
Interesting contrast, yet blends smoothly in most places.
Throwing cartoony uniforms in there throws this balance out of whack.
It doesn't match the art style.

realistic uniforms are nearly impossible they take forever to make and are hard to shade this is roblox, a lego game, it's only reasonable to accept cartoon uniforms

I said I hated cartoony shading
the lazy gradient shading rather than the soft glows they're not even hard to do haha
simulating subsurface shading is the hard part.

Taking resources out during time crunching period.
Spending time on in-house uniforms will hamper the details of my fort, my training center, and my raid simulator.
Mostly bug fixing time.

I'm talking about the difference in pixel value between each part of shading?
Essentially every uniform ever has it
You have a brush
You paint over the template
Then you get a slightly darker brush and paint over that
That kind of shading
Unrealistic looks boring
can't use a macro to fix it

actually yeah haha
I know
I actually already have templates created and have a cache of 30 - 50 textures to stamp into GIMP to make a uniform in-house if absolutely necessary.
Problem is
I can't make them overlay very well.
hence, I suck at making these kinds of uniforms.
I can create assets to make them with, but not the actual product itself to the standards I need.

Too late to make everything match now.
I've generated almost all of the art assets I need.
Remaking them all now in a cartoony style will:
A. get me sued by Nintendo for having too many similarities with their long standing IPs even though I'm ripping off Mass Effect more
B. take another year to develop
