Typically there are 3 proctors in a SAT room. Cheating can lead to suspension/explusion, denial of entry into a university, fines, etc.

actually it cant.
if they do catch you, they'll kick you out. they cant do disciplinary action because the proctors dont have the juristiction to punish you past the punishments the collegeboard can give
on a seriousnote,
why.
the SAT wiring is dirt easy.

obviously some of you may need some work in the critical reading section, har har.
i said that i have 5-9 minutes left over once i'm done taking the writing section because of the fact that it's easy; thus, with those leftover minutes, i intend on going on to the next section very secretly. |

i don't really get why this is that ill-received..
@are well yeah, the practice one. i'm talking about the real one, in which a higher score entails, at least to some extent, better chances at good colleges. |

i've been in the sat testing room before firstly, because i live in a place in which most people opt for the ACT and there are consequently fewer SAT testers, there was only one proctor. i don't know if that'll be the case this saturday, but of course that'll be auspicious (hey look, an SAT word!).
as aforementioned, the consequence is a cancellation of your scores and a notification to CB.
the proctors will not notice if they're on the other side of the room and you flip a page ahead and start reading early, especially if you only partly flip the page.
don't know why you guys are so salty about this |

"are you 5" no but i'm someone who can use a dictionary
definition of cheat is as follows: - act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination.
i'm trying to gain an advantage, dishonestly albeit in my opinion justifiably, in an examination.
the salt is real on this thread y'all should calm down some |

| i don't mind you cheating, to be honest those tests are really stupid, they don't really judge your skill of knowledge, they judge what they think you should know, which is basically flipping luck if you know it or don't, which i think, why the f not, you can cheat, i mean seriously, why should a test be about luck about, if i happened to read this part of my book, and a different student read a different part of the book, and the different part of the book is on the test? i think that's pretty luck based, i mean you studied, but u still get it wrong? ya i don't think that's fair, go go cheat cheat. |

"thats admitting you cant pass it with the time given thus you cant pass anything"
so you're saying that admission to inability to pass something in a given time period equates to not being able to pass anything? there has to be some faulty logic there lol.
in any case, you can call it what you want the ends still justify the means, at least for me

yeah exactly @ikeno
the fact that they're making everyone do a uniform, standardized test that has a big effect on your future is hugely unfair imo. makes students into numbers and stats rather than ppl with individual talents/skills |
