I know some Java, some JavaScript, and a little html already, so I'm not a complete noob to programming...
I really want to make a cool game on ROBLOX, but I'd need to know Lua for that. Besides the Wiki (which I don't like), where can I learn to script?
Also, is Lua easy or hard to learn? Compared to Java, of course. |

I know both Lua and Java.
Lua is easier syntax-wise, but it has the same concepts as Java and most other languages. I would recommend learning Lua before learning Java, as Java has more complex syntax. |

Lua is super easy compared to something like Java. Lua is weakly-typed, has tons of implications, et cetera. Lua doesn't even have classes!
I know you might not like the wiki, but the best place is probably the wiki. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=AllTutorials#Scripting
Since you already know a language, you might be able to just skip that and edit free models to see what does what.
If you really can't learn any other way, you can use video tutorials (Which are lame IMO, but whatever) |

| Okay, thanks. I think I'll give the wiki another shot. |

| Well it's written by numerous people, so not all of the tutorials will work out. |
