I managed to go 18 years without getting a cavity but now that the wisdom teeth are making large lumps penetrate through my gums, the back teeth have been blocked off and are difficult to clean. So it'd be nice to know what getting a filling is like now, cause it's happening in a few hours here.
Uhh...Not cause I'm scared or nothing. Nah. I don't get scared of people injecting you with deadening...Things...Then drilling into your teeth...Euhuhghh...Uh, no. I just need to know in case anyone asks me what it's like in the hours leading up to this thing. It'd be nice to have the knowledge to tell them. |

| See, when I got some teeth pulled back in 2008 or 2009, the deadening injections helped none. I couldn't ralk, sure. But it still hurt like hell. This ain't gonna be the same, is it? |

i doubt anyone here would know what getting a filling is like. during the procedure it wont be too bad i was on anesthesia and had a big ass needle in my mouth to numb out the pain.
it hurt real bad afterwards. but yeah the actual procedure itself was fine |

I've had multiple fillings No pain if you get the gum injection, it's just the discomfort of having the drill vibrate through your skull. Everything's fine after. |

| Crap, crap, crap. This ain't really helping meeeaaanyone that I would tell about what getting a filling is like. It'd actually probably make them more scared and paranoid. Anyone have any completely good experiences with them? No uncomfortableness or pain at all? |

| I don't see any way you can have a filling and now feel uncomfortable/pain unless you're knocked out |

| dude you're just gonna have to man through it, dunno what else to say. if its the needle youre scared of maybe talk to your dentist about it? i mean having a fillin without any kind of anesthesia wouldnt really work out too well. |

| Not so much the needle, just the effects of it. Pharmaceutical effects and whatnot make me right lightheaded. Biology's been a real fun ride this year. I've had to stop writing cause my hands couldn't grasp the pencil, and one time I had to ongoing to the bathroom, throw up, then come back and continue. |

| And if anything I say doesn't make too much sense, it's cause I'm on my phone and autocorrect is a ninny. |

In all my 20 years on this planet I've had one filling.
It was alright. I had my gums numb for a little bit and I didn't feel a thing. Perfectly painless.
Only downside is having numb gums. |

| It's done and over with. It's a good thing I was lying down when they gave me the needle cause I felt right lightheaded. Probably would've fainted if I was standing or sitting. Then they did lots of teeth things that made me gag a lot since I gag easily. Then I went home and drooled all over myself and am craving some Kraft Dinner which isn't really an option until my mouth stops being such a prick. |

Here's how it goes:
*you lay down in the chair*
*they knock you out either by injecting you with a needle, or giving you a pill, or a liquid.*
*you fall asleep.*
*wake up and boom silver tooth.* |

| No, no. I was awake for it. Just sitting there feeling and not feeling whatever they were doing in my mouth. I still haven't even seen my tooth yet. I don't like touching my mouth. |

Really?
I got it when I was 10 years old, and at the time I was scared to the point of throwing up apparently.
SO they just put me asleep. |
