This is really important to everyone who's been playing ROBLOX since 2013 and below.
Many people look at "Lifetime" membership as a waste of money. I can see where they're getting at because of how the price is. However, you shouldn't let that phase you. What if I told you that buying a more expensive membership saves you money? Let's do quick math.
Scenario:
I've been on ROBLOX since 2007. During my experience, I have bought BC, TBC, and OBC membership over the years. For a couple years, I've been renewing my 6-month membership. Recently, I've been renewing a monthly membership whenever I have spare change.
If I was to save all of my money since the beginning, I could have bought lifetime OBC/TBC/BC a long time ago and still end up paying way less money today. How?
Lets say my first "6 months" subscription was purchased on January 1st, 2008. I kept renewing my membership until July 1st, 2012. This means that I have spent $29.95 exactly 10 times.
29.95 * 10 = $299.50
This is a major loss for me because I could've bought BC lifetime for only $199.95 and would have roughly $100 leftover. Even if I wasn't being consistent about renewing my membership. For example, I buy a 6-month subscription on January 2008 until January 2009. Then I buy it again on January 2012 until 2013, I'm still going to be over the lifetime price.
If you know for sure you're going to be on ROBLOX for a while, then just go with lifetime membership. Whether if it's BC, TBC, or OBC. You're going to end up investing way too much money than you should have if you keep renewing monthly memberships.
You're probably going to be like, "What if I don't play forever?", you don't have to. However, I'd rather be happy with the fact I paid less money for a feature that I can keep forever than paying for the same feature that I have to keep paying for.
Constructive criticism is welcome.

True.
Except I don't have $200 to spare. Also a problem for me is,
I think, "BC lifetime, $200? That's a rip-off. Why not pay the extra $100 for TBC lifetime? Double the robux, places, etc. Wait, OBC lifetime is only $50 more. Why not get that?"

If you bought lifetime OBC then it would pay for itself in a couple of years.
As each year playing goes by you can divide the months into the price.
Your first year cost 360?/12=$30 per month. Year 2 is divided by 24=$15 per month. year 3 is divided by 36=$10 per month. You see where this is going, The longer you play the cheaper the original cost will be. Year 10 is only $3.60 per month
Now by the third year you should have made some visits, sales and what not to create an income of robux. As an OBC member you can cash that in for real money. Now how much did Roblox cost you? The better question here would be "How much did Roblox make you?" |

Last I heard , a lifetime membership was 100 years.
That came from the first twitch bloxcast. And I have seen it mentioned in the forums as 100 for lifetime. |

| The only bad thing about buying lifetime BC or TBC is that you have to buy lifetime OBC in order to be able to ever get OBC, which is necessary for using DevEx, which I plan on using soon. |
