| Actually, the original creator has a lot to do with this new stuff, so it's basically new source material. |

| You do realize the Expanded Universe was branded non-canon after Episode VII was announced? Disney could drastically change the series so anything outside of the movies is considered to be non-canonical. |

"plot"
aka new weird ass looking alien thing appears looking to destroy everything just because and the Z-fighters try and fight losing repeatedly until they get a bunch of BS power-ups and barely win, rinse and repeat |

| Also, you are only really looking at the bad parts of the show. Those "BS powerups" aren't the only thing that go into the plots of the Dragon Ball Z stories. For instance, there are interesting character developments, side plots and twists that make up for it. Nobody was really expecting Vegeta to become a "good guy", during the Frieza saga. And during the Cell saga, the writers capitalize on the massive foreshadowing that they did with Gohan's hidden power. And during the Buu saga, we find that Vegeta purposefully let Babity take control over him so that he could beat Goku. Mr. Satan was a peculiar case because he appears like he is an arrogant moron, but in actuality, he was able to play a major role in killing Majin Buu (befriending him, convincing the Earthlings to share their power for the spirit bomb, moving Vegeta out of the way of the bomb, etc.). Things like this are what make Dragon Ball Z interesting and fun to watch. |

| Isn't it called Battle Of The Gods 2? Where they're gonna bring Frieza back to life. I can't wait to see it. |

| Always laughed when anyone said that DBZ was really ever going to be over anytime soon. |

"For instance, there are interesting character developments, side plots and twists that make up for it."
-not really
"Nobody was really expecting Vegeta to become a "good guy", during the Frieza saga."
-it was obvious from the moment goku let him live (for no real reason too)
"And during the Cell saga, the writers capitalize on the massive foreshadowing that they did with Gohan's hidden power."
-they basically say "wow this kid is super powerful" constantly up until the point where he goes super saiyan and then say "wow he's super powerful." it's pretty dumb too considering he goes super saiyan 2 over the death of a character he didn't even really know
"And during the Buu saga, we find that Vegeta purposefully let Babity take control over him so that he could beat Goku."
-the only aspect to vegeta's character is that he wants to be better than goku, it was obvious why he accepted a power-up |

@Iguanazor
Clearly Goku let Vegetable live because he is the only full-blooded saiyan left besides himself.
It's pretty much genocide if he were to kill him! |

"-not really"
-Your reasoning?(besides below)
"-it was obvious from the moment goku let him live (for no real reason too)"
-He does give a reason, but it's pretty vague. In the manga he says that he wants to kill Vegeta himself, so this implies that he wasn't really showing mercy (although he was probably lying, considering he's such a nice person)
"-they basically say "wow this kid is super powerful" constantly up until the point where he goes super saiyan and then say "wow he's super powerful." it's pretty dumb too considering he goes super saiyan 2 over the death of a character he didn't even really know"
-kinda have to agree with you on this one, but he actually did not go ssj2 over android 16, he went ssj2 because of the Cell Juniors attacking his friends and family. The power up after android 16 talked to him(as a head...kinda creepy), was not that big, but when it really let loose was when he saw the cell juniors attacking
"-the only aspect to vegeta's character is that he wants to be better than goku, it was obvious why he accepted a power-up"
-agreed, I just personally took it as a suprise
I'm am in no way trying to be hostile, but stating reasons why I though DBZ was good. For most people, it was their childhood, so they love it because of that, but for me, I just started watching it a couple of months ago and found it interesting. It all really comes down to opinion, and I do respect yours. |

he says he wants to fight him again, which is a pretty dumb reason considering what vegeta did and is obviously meant to force a rivalry

| Goku always wants a challenge, and to fight his enemies at full strength. Goku knew that he and Vegeta would both receive a Zenkai boost, making for a more interesting battle. |

| Pretty much, he may not be evil, but he is still a full blooded saiyan. I agree with you though, it was a pretty dumb decision. |
