'Arc: Evolution' is a project I've been working on occasionally over the past two weeks. It's a first-person shooter in the style of, and using assets from, Halo, but incorporating the fast paced gameplay of Quake and Unreal Tournament. Once this project is complete, I expect it to be mostly unrecognisable as ROBLOX, by using Solid Modelling to produce less-blocky maps, weapons and characters.
While I am perfectly capable of scripting, I need matured and skilled contributors in the fields of: map creation, weapon design, and other Solid Modelling skills.

P.S. - The 'Evolution' sub-title is just there to parody the name 'Halo: Combat Evolved', but I might do more games under the name 'Arc' in future. Let's see what happens.

P.P.P.S. - I know this probably sounds like a direct ripoff of the rather popular Roblox clone of Halo: 'HEX', but I wasn't even aware that that my idea was even -similar- to that game until yesterday when I played it for the first time. I don't intend to take their route of copying Halo's gameplay mechanics, and putting them into a 'Roblox style' though - I'd rather take Unreal's gameplay mechanics and put them into a 'Halo style'. |

This seems quite interesting, I'm currently working on graphic design at school, some of the things i've made are in my decals.
I'd love to be a map designer, i'll put some of my work into places on my profile, i've been working on a lobby for fun. |

Got a decent team going now, but we still need someone capable of creating character models (using relatively complex unions for each limb).
A style I've been contemplating for ingame characters is the ball-jointed Mega Bloks Spartan figures. They fit well enough to Roblox proportions and fit well with the game theme. If you think you could do that, please contact me. |
