Credits to TheMajesticForce and mikeyman12ash for making some of this (The beginning is where i started it off)
-Sigh- Hello, my name is Sarah Cosvick. I am a 24 year old woman who lives alone in the city of New York. I was living a happy, wonderful life. Till i bought the dress One day, i went to the store, looking for a dress. It was my sisters wedding soon and i had nothing. There, i saw this bright beautfiul blue-and-black dress, and i decided to buy it. The store clerk looked shocked that i wanted this dress. "A-Are you sure madam? We have much more prettier dresses than that one." "No, i'm sure i like this one. Does this fit me?" "Y-Yea-" -cough- "it's $4.20 ma'am." "Have a nice day" Was he flirting with me? Eh, so i went back home to eat. After that i went to go on the Internet. While playing Town of Salem, people started to talk about this black-and-blue dress people talking how it was white and gold. she turned around and looked at her dress on the bed She couldn't believe it. Did she imagine it was black and blue? No, she couldn't have! She thought she needed a nap. After several minutes she woke up. She heard whispers getting louder. She saw a shadow which looked like a dress. She saw it. The dress was red. She screamed and woke up. Suddenly she had a terrifying realization. Several dresses of other colors appeared through her doorway, formed a circle around. A green one, a purple one, even an orange one, in addition to the blue black and white gold dresses. "One of us! One of us!" they chanted. Suddenly, her arms began disappearing, and with them her legs. She didn't know it, but soon her head had disappeared. She looked down and saw her pink shirt elongating to cover what were once her legs, and soon the sleeves of her shirt joined her invisible arms.
"Oh, it was just a dream." She said. She walked downstairs and made some toast. Suddenly, she heard glass shatter in her room. She grabbed a broom and quietly went upstairs. Before she could even open the door, the door slammed open. She looked inside. The window was open and it was windy. "Strange," she said, "the window wasn't open before." Then she discovered a sticky note near the now open window, with a riddle written on it. The lines alternated, being written in black and white ink on a hot pink sticky note. "If you wish to find the secret, solve this riddle and go to the place it points you to." it said. And the riddle was this:
We hide in a place where it's cold and damp Where you can barely see, even by a lamp Where it's dark and it's frigid The halls narrow and floors rigid The trickle of water so tranquil and calm Yet any moment you know you may fall Where you can see nary a stone's throw in front of you If first us plagued beasts don't find you
After she read the riddle, the window closed. She saw what had broke. Her favorite vase was shattered into millions of pieces. She cleaned the room and sat down. She said, "What does the note mean?" She suddenly heard a scream outside. She looked at the window to see a mob of many dresses of different colors, gliding silently over the ground towards the woods in her backyard, with a person slung unconscious over each of their shoulders. They unleashed screams of the banshees as they flew into the woods, presumably towards the area the riddle was indicating. She ran outside and followed the dresses, trying not to be seen. She knew she should go back home, but she was curious. After several minutes of running and hiding, she knew where she was. This was the place the riddle was talking about. She watched in horror as the dresses phased through the ground, human bodies going with them with no resistance. These bodies were either dead or heavily sedated. She walked forward, confused, to where they disappeared into the ground, falling through a patch of leaves and sliding through a dirt tunnel like a sled going down a steep hill of snow. She came out at the bottom to a pile of bodies, with tunnels going in countless directions, but no dresses to be seen. She ran into a random tunnel, and she was lucky, kind of. She found the dresses. She hid behind a dead body. She couldn't see what was going on, suddenly she blacked out. She woke up in a room with sewing machines and threads and such. Suddenly 2 dresses came in. The two dresses began sewing more, nonliving dresses. They then floated towards the body she was hiding behind, draping it over both of them. She let out a quiet sigh of relief that the dresses hadn't noticed her yet. Maybe they didn't have eyes? Or if they did, maybe they were blind or it was too dark. The dresses got the sewing needle and made a dress, a red one. They put the dress on her. She turned into one of the dresses, one day to be bought.
