ezio is somehow capable of accurately aiming and shooting a wrist-mounted black powder gun from the 15th century over dozens of yards
and also somehow not breaking his wrist from the recoil when it fires |

@Rose
Hey m8 At least people can't spam counter-kill chains. Bwahhahaha.
The fact they can hit you down a crowded street with a pistol while your running can become annoying through. |

| i can aim this 17th century musket + flintlock pistol with pinpoint accuracy, even though rifling isn't in muskets or pistols. |

Besides, the reload rate. Plus, if you are reading genetic memories of ancestors.
Wouldn't it be more like a video, than a actual controllable interaction? |

Thought so.
But then again, so would be the fact if you got stabbed, you'd either get gangrene and die, get a limb chopped off to -probably- save you, etc.
I don't mind realism, but there is a line that needs to be drawn before it becomes stupid. |

yeah, medical technology at the time boiled down to "pour hot water to clean the wound, wrap it and pray for the best" and if it did get infected you were dead if it didn't get cut off, or a cripple if it did, which wasn't much better than dead
trying to block anything like a sword with a hidden blade would result in severe injury at best and the loss of your hand at worst
trying to fire the hidden gun like ezio did would probably break something, because you can't really AFAIK absorb the recoil like you do with a pistol when it's strapped to your arm like that
the hay bales and leaps of faith... nothing needs to be said
and a whole lot of other nitpicks more knowledgeable people than I have gone over
but then again, this setting features what is pretty blatantly either magic or clarktech |

@Lord
Brown paper, and paraffin oil. Hagman FTW.
And yeah. 19th century volley guns were abandoned, as they'd either dislocate, or fully break the shoulder of the man firing it. And they were full rifles.
