Formations: "Rank, Center!" - Lining up shoulder to shoulder in front of the officer. (Keep proper Spacing!) "Rank, Right!" - Lining up shoulder to shoulder to the right of the officer. (Keep proper Spacing!) "Rank, Left!" - Lining up shoulder to shoulder to the left of the officer. (Keep proper Spacing!) "Form Rank!" - Same as "Rank, Center!" "Attention!" - All soldiers order arms and Face the officer without speaking. "Line of Battle!" - Soldiers form two rows, called ranks, one infront of the other. "Stagger Formation!" - Soldiers form a zig zag pattern, one person standing still and the next stepping back. "Arrowhead Formation!" - Soldiers form a "V" shape in front of the officer. "Wedge Formation!" - Similar to the Arrowhead, but troops will fill in the middle of the "V." "Circle Formation!" - Soldiers circle around the officer. "Disperse!" - Soldiers will break formation and follow the officer's next orders. "Disperse and Find Cover!" - Soldiers will break formation and find cover. "Form Stagger!" - Same as "Stagger Formation!" "Form Arrowhead!" - Same as "Arrowhead Formation!" "Form Wedge!" - Same as "Wedge Formation!" "Form Circle!" - Same as "Circle Formation!" "Form X rows!" - Same as "Form Rank!" but with specified number of ranks.
Movement: "On me!" - Soldiers line up one by one behind the officer. "Follow Me!" - Soldiers follow the officer closely, but not in a straight line. "Hold Position!" - Soldiers spread out to hold a particular location. "Stand Ground!" - Soldiers should not retreat even in the face of overwhelming odds. "Charge!" - Soldiers should rush nearby enemies. "Retreat!" - Soldiers should fall back to a specified, safe location. "Advance!" - Soldiers should move forward and find cover. "Advance X Paces!" - Soldiers should move forward, taking specified number of paces. "Fall Back!" - Soldiers should move back and find cover. "Fall Back X Paces!" - Soldiers should move back, taking specified number of paces. "Spread Out!" - Soldiers should disperse away from the officer, but still remain close by. "Stand Closer!" - Soldiers should stand closer to the officer.
Weapon Commands:
Musket Drills: "Present Arms!" - Take out the musket. "Order Arms!" - Put away the musket. "Fix Bayonets!" - Put on the bayonet. (B) "Address Bayonets!" - Remove the bayonet. (B) "Shoulder Arms!" - Rest the musket on your shoulder. (F) "Port Arms!" - Rest the musket on your chest. (N) "Make Ready!" - Make sure you're ready to fire. "Take Aim!" - Aim at your desired target. "Fire!" - Fire your weapon. (Left Mouse Button Click) "Auto Shoulder!" - Automatically reload and shoulder arms without being told. "Fire at Will!" - Fire at your own pace at your own targets without any other commands being issued, with the exception of cease fire. "Bash!" - Bash your musket into the enemy. (X) "Charge Bayonets!" - Charge your bayonet at an enemy. (E) "Reload!" - Reload your weapon. (Left Mouse Button Click after Firing or "R" Key.) "Cease Fire!" - Stop firing your musket. "Commence Firing!" - Begin firing your musket.
Face Drills:
"Left Face!" - 90 degree turn to your left. "Right Face!" - 90 degree turn to your right. "About Face!" - 180 degree turn. "Left Oblique!" - 45 degrees to your left. "Right Oblique!" - 45 degrees to your right. "Center Face!" - In a rank, face the Officer. "Forward Face!" - In a file, face the front where the officer is standing.
Sword Drills: "Present Rapiers!" - Take out your sword. "Order Rapiers!" - Put away your sword. "Hold Position!" - Hold your current location. "Make Ready to Charge!" - Prepare to charge. "Follow Me!" - Follow the officer closely. "Charge!" - Charge the enemy. "Disperse!" - Spread out around the officer. "On me!" - Line up behind the officer. "Fall Back!" - Move back to a safe location. "Advance!" - Move forward to a safe location. "Retreat!" - Move back to a designated, safe location. "Spread Out!" - Move away from the officer, while still close by. "Stand Closer!" - Stand closer to the officer. "Stand Ground!" - Hold position without retreating.
Sabre Commands:
"Hold Position!" - (P) "Make Ready!" - (M) "Charge!" - (C) "On me!" - (N) "Fire!" - (F) "Advance!" - (Z) "Fall back!" - (H) "Fire at will!" - (G)
Cavalry Drills:
“Mount!”- Mount the horse closest to you, or the horse you rode last. “Dismount!”- Dismount the horse, and stand 2-3 studs directly in front of it. “Present Blades!”- Equip your sabre, and keep in the passive position. "X Take Point!" “Give Point!”- Ready your sabre in a attacking position (T). “Sheath Blades!”- Put your sabre away. “Passive!”-Put your blade in a passive position while mounted (T) “Trot!”- Slow your horse, and keep at that speed unless called to adjust (E) “Gallop!”- Full speed, should only be called when the formation is complete (E) “Adjust!”- A warning that the formation is starting to fall apart.
Marching Drills:
"Forward March!" - Begin marching behind the officer. "Prepare to March!" - Prepare to march. "Prepare to Halt!" - Prepare to stop marching. "Make Ready to March!" - Same as "Prepare to March!" "Halt!" - Stop marching. "Adjust!" - Reshape the line behind the officer. "Disperse!" - Stop marching and spread out around the officer. "Follow me!" - Continue following the officer, but not in an orderly line.
Firing Commands: "Fire on my Command!" - Only fire, reload, etc... when the officer says to. "Fire at Will!" - Fire and reload on your own accord. "Auto Shoulder!" - After firing, without being told to, reload and shoulder your musket. "Volley Fire!" - Fire all at once. Should be used unless told otherwise. "Ripple Fire!" - Fire one by one starting from the person closest to the officer, unless told otherwise. "Stagger Fire!" - Firing in the staggered formation, where one line moves up, fires, then moves back and the other line repeats. "Rank Fire!" - Fire in volley, rank by rank (row by row.) "Quick Fire!" - A very fast ripple fire. "Center Ripple!" - A ripple, starting with the center person, going outward on each side. Two people will be firing at once, with the exception of the first shot. "Outer Ripple!" - A ripple, starting with the two outer ends, going inward. Two people will be firing at once, with the exception of the last shot. "Right Flank, Fire!" - Only a rank to the right will fire. "Left Flank, Fire!" - Only a rank to the left will fire. "Center Flank, Fire!" - Only a central rank will fire.
