| I've recently created this clan, and have very larger plans on it. However, this is my first time creating a government/country-type clan. I have no idea how to run it. Any suggestions? |

Set up a constitution so that way no one can possibly find loopholes in the rules. Make sure to cover everything, even if you have want to have a voting system. Have a way that corrupted members of the government can be taken from their positions if needed. Example:

And you think I'm going to type all of that? Nah, I'm kidding. But I don't have a foundation. For all I know, Marvel made a short series of comic books on the Nova Force, and the wikis, nor I, know nothing about it. Nothing exists about it. Lol. |

| In addition, if you make a constitution, always announce the given rights each group member. Have a set of natural rights. In addition, make sure those rights cannot be infringed in any way, and that the constitution IS the law. Amendments can be added and taken away, but the original constitution should not be changed unless, in some cases, a majority of the group agrees otherwise. |

| And where do you suppose I start? I mean, I can't model the government after the US, the US is a distant planet in a distant sector across the galaxy in the eyes of the Nova Empire... |

Start simple:
Start with basic rules you want to have followed and then start with the rights each member is given (the right to bear arms, the right to free speech, the right to have a voice in the government that represents them, the right to a fair trial, the right to be treated equal, etc). From there, you may want to set up a system so you don't have to run EVERYTHING. Essentially, you will distribute power to lower individuals who can micromanage while you take care of large scale issues. |

| Or, if you want a dictatorship, make a constitution saying what you say is law; period. But you have to let your group members know what they are getting into, so maybe give examples of rules you will create. |

| Good idea, but it is funny, since I don't have any lower individuals. Even though my group had 125 people, and my new one has 17, they A, are there just because we are friends and don't really care, or B, extra group space. And this brings up my next issue. How DO people recruit these days? I mean, I worked my rear off to expand a teeny bit, only to loose twenty members this last week. |

| Make sure you have something to offer them. Most people want to be in a group they know is growing and they can gain power in quickly. In addition, if it's a war clan, for instance, you want to make sure you have things a war group would have to show they don't have to wait to have these things (weapons, bases, etc). Next, you need to create alliances and start wars; no one is going to join a war group that is always at peace, but at the same time, that has no chances in war. You have to prove that you can provide trainings to them and teach them the basics of fighting so they can go out onto the field ready to fight. This is only the top layer of the soil when it comes to expanding and creating a group. |

Don't go to the recruiting plaza. Last time I tried it I got 2 members in 1 hour and both left.
I think PMs, right? |

1. Don't go to Recruiting Plaza. 2. Sending recruitment messages offering a Mid-Rank position to someone experienced could work. 3. Do NOT post dumb and childish stuff on C&G. 4. Don't start posting Recruitment Threads in other forums that isn't C&G. 5. You seem new in C&G, do not cry if people insult you... You'll get used to it. <3
That is all I have to say I guess, mate... Hope it works for you.

You are mistaken, partially. I am not new to Clans, nor Guilds, for I've been in the UNSC field for over two years. I am just new to these kind of groups. I've been sending PMs, but seeing how the group was made a few days ago, and seeing its puny size, none is convinced to join. |

| I believe you all are widely mistaken. And I sort of phrased it wrong. This isn't completely a government clan, it is just vial that there is a civilian portion, government, portion, and military portion. Without any of the above, the Nova Corps/Nova Force, wouldn't function as it should. |

| Well, I would develop it, expand it, finish its base, recruit, host events, trainings, and go to war when I feel it is suitable. |

Partially. But there is one thing I haven't seen very often, if ever. Basically, Xandar is a huge city. I am letting the the wealthier of the population, if they can afford it, pay from 300 to 1k Robux, and I will insert a shop of their choice. When they do so, their income at Xandar will increase exponentially, and they can start businesses, etc. The problem is.... I don't have a population to do this with. |

Heh, that's what I did with my old group and my current group is doing.
make ads that wants them to buy homes. also 300 robux-1k is too much. do 1k tickets.

| Man, 300 Robux for a pretty large shop, and 1k for a two story? Not a bad deal in my opinion. If you haven't seen Xandar, you should. Those separate buildings, like, the one with two curved pieces and a third flat one as a roof, those are 1k. And man, credits at Xandar can soon buy vehicles, battleships, weapons, and illegal weapons. None save after the server resets, other than the credits. |
