I need tips on the one I have in the place below. I'm working on it firing an actual projectile instead of hitscanning (so I can add bullet drop). What else needs to be done with it? Animations are still a little unstable so I am working on those but thats less of adding stuff and more of just fixing.

| You can add bullet drop without actual projectiles. |

I guess you could actually. Just get the mouse's Hit and then calculate how far that is from the gun and account for gravity. I just feel like an actual projectile would be more realistic but for now I think I may do that. Thanks!

segmented raycasting works nicely if you want to implement bullet drop.

Segmented raycasting as in casting multiple rays or just creating multiple parts?

Alright thanks everyone. So bullet drop is definitely in. Any other tips? I was thinking of making it so when you walk up to a brick/wall/etc the gun kinda comes up. Basically so that the gun isn't sticking into the wall.
