not a useful invention? that is quite literally running a motor naturally. it's a renewable resource.
it's like running a motor off the wind, or grass, or something like that.
we can literally stop the oil trade if that was mass produced. |

History is history.
I disagree with Americans designating months like this.
Also to whoever said "the rest of the year", clearly you never took a real history class.
Europeans show up a lot because they were better than everyone else and nobody else could match their weapons, economy, or anything really.
It happens when one region controls the world for most of well recorded history.

do you not understand how much money that would save everyone in the world?
lets say this, a trip from calais france to venice would cost someplace around 400$ in gas, you can cut that price to just gatorade or soda you buy from the store. |

obviously you have learned nothing from YOUR history class.
you probably think that a european invented the printing press. you would be wrong, it was the chinese.
europe was in the dark ages for hundreds of years, while the rest of the world only stopped innovating, exploring, and learning after being conquered. |

If you'd actually like to talk somewhat educational about this engine:
A.) what type of pollution does it have? B.) how would we supply all the urine needed? C.) where would all the oil and gas engines go? D.) would there be any type of smell associated with this engine, considering its fuel source? E.) how many miles per gallon would this engine get? F.) is it even worth switching to this engine, after considering all the effect it could have on the environment + economy? |

Er. No? Ignorant to assume anything about a person.
Europe didn't invent a lot of things. But they took China's black powder and used it to shoot them, took paper and made novels a true medium, and made the Arabic numerals world renown. So on so forth.
If you had to pick the hub of history, it's Europe. |

A.) It has zero pollution, everything put into the engine is used. (unlike gas or diesel engines) B.) All it takes is one liter, which will run an engine for 6 hours. Again, a few sodas, water bottles, gatorades, etc. C.) Nowhere, a thorough cleaning and a few modifications allows for them to be used in this way (electrolytic cell, water filters, and one way valves replacing all the other valves in the engine) D.) It wouldn't smell at all, considering you don't smell all the diesel and gasoline being burned up in your current car engine. E.) One liter goes for 6 hours, not sure how many MPH, but again this is literally a brand new invention, it can only get better from here F.) If fed slowly into circulation, it would decrease the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and help the earth heal from all the hydrocracking needed to get oil. And only oil dependent nations would feel any impact at all. (Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Qatar, UAE, etc.)

While muslims, chinese, and africans were using effective medicine in the early middle ages, europeans were rubbing pepper in their eyes and cinnamon in their wounds.
Hub of history? Perhaps of stolen history. No doubt did some europeans do great things, but the rest just exploited the world. |

WHY IS THERE AN ARGUMENT ABOUT A BLOODY LOU ENGINE.
If its mass produced I wish I had male body parts. If it has the power of gasoline hell yes its useful. |

It won't be mass produced because of the oil industry making too much money.
If more than a few trillion dollars can be made off of pee every year, then oil is a goner.
I don't see that happening, though. |

| Fair enough to most of the answers, save for B. You can't simply meet demand by "purchasing a few sodas." Considering how often people use their vehicles and whatever the MPG this engine gets, you'd have to have a steady supply of urine. I don't know about you, but I can't exactly force myself to go whenever I want to. |

Exploitation and war is human history.
Post dark ages Europe went leagues ahead. Constant warfare fueled innovations in many areas. Regardless, Europe owned everything. That's a fact. They may not have invented basic things but they sure as hell used them better than anyone, and then launched ahead, building factories while Japan (Loooove Japanese history) still didnt know how to use magic boom boom dust right.
I love history but factually Europe won the Darwin contest of nations. |

That still doesn't really cut it as a legitimate answer.
I love how this went from the topic of black history month to an engine that runs on urine lol. |
