| I'm trying to make mine that players will set down on the ground. When an enemy gets close enough, it goes BOOM. It works fine and all, but I need a way for it to record the kill when it kills the player. I mean record as in, updates the website KOs too. |

| Not possible to record to website. . . Unless you use roblox made leaderboard and tools and what not. |

| im pretty sure it updates your kills if someone dies with a creator tag with your player as its value |

| yes, it's possible to record kills to the website because i did it with melee tools and guns. i need a way to tag the player's humanoid with an explosion. but i don't know how. |

@chim But didn't they change that bc people would make places where they'd have like infitite KOs spawnkilling like spmeone 1000000 billion times using creator tag. |

welll... Couldn;t you make it so that when the mine triggers, it takes the character that trigged it and checks if it dies in the next like 3 seconds and if it does then do the creator tag thing blah blah blah |

| wel there is a problem. i can use the creator tag so it finds the player. but what if a player triggers it and another player is in range of the explosion. it would only record one kill. |

it only works a few time a minute now so spam killing does nothing |

Try using the Explosion.Hit event on your explosion Maybe something like
explosion.Hit:connect(function(part, distance) local partParent = part.Parent if (partParent and partParent:IsA("Model") and partParent:FindFirstChild("Humanoid") and partParent.Humanoid:FindFirstChild("creator") == nil) then local creatorTag = Instance.new("ObjectValue", partParent.Humanoid) creatorTag.Value = localplayer -- put the player who owned the mine

| Check out wiki.roblox.com for events like that. Usually it has the answer. |
