each generation becomes more tolerant and desensitized than the last whether this is good or bad is not for me to say (im biased just like everyone else)
only 60 years ago elvis presley's (lame) dance moves were considered controversial people continue to push the limits of what is socially acceptable, especially in comedies and music ex. miley cyrus
but this is also happening with language (this is reflected on roblox) by my moral standards, posting this would be inappropriate http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=156654970
and that's just here... on a kid's site i think that it is wrong for anyone below 12 to use excessive profanity, but with the current rate of change profanity at age 4 will soon be a societal norm (ok maybe thats an exaggeration, but i wouldnt be surprised if that was true within ten years)
whatchu think? will future generations frown upon us for being too restrictive? |

on the flip side, laws are getting more restrictive over time the free internet will not last. too many people want it heavily filtered in one way or another :(
so yeah. our generation may well be the only one that enjoys the golden age of the internet |
