I've seen a lot of complaining but personally I like the gamemode, although it calls for a lot of camping which is stupid if you've got the worse team.
Every game its just a person taking the artifact and running to their spawn, where everyone crowds around. You can kill some of them, or even all of them, but they just respawn behind you and kill you (Which you'd most likely be damaged already).
With the release of a lot of larger maps, this takes a while to walk back and the enemy team can gain a lot of points.
The change that I think should occur is that on each map there is a boundary for the person with the artifact. They can not pass this boundary and it should be 1/2 between each team's spawn and the middle.
This will prevent the problems/complaints about team artifact and make the teams actually work to defend their person holding the artifact. |

i thought itd be better if you had a "risk" system
like the closer to the enemy spawn you are with the artifact, the more points you get
when youre at your spawn you get like 0.2 per second, when youre at the enemy spawn you get 2 per second |

That'd be cool, but people would still camp a lot in their spawns and 'play it safe.'
And since the team w/ most points win once the time runs out, people would be content with the .2 points they get by camping their spawn.
Also with the introduction of larger maps, when you do manage to take out the artifact/people guarding it, they spawn right behind you and often it makes it difficult to bring back across. |

I don't see a problem with team artifact.
You can't have anything handed for you.
If you are a decent player you are smart enough to quickly kill the guy with the artifact, grab it and get out of their territory via evade or jetpack. |

Because bigger maps gives the other team 20+ points just waiting for a player to get across.
Besides that, how is it challenging for me to sit in my spawn and 300-0 the other team?
If HEX is supposed to be 'fast-paced' as you say, this feature would be added.
If the gamemode was supposed to be 'challenging' as you say, this feature would be added. One person holding the artifact wouldn't have to be good, but it'd be more of a team effort. |

with that logic its the same way with capture the flag & king of the hill.
the point of team artifact is in its name 'Team Artifact'
use teamwork to get the artifact back, when I play I don't have any problem retrieving the artifact from the other team even if they are hiding in their own territory. |

Exactly.
If it was team artifact, it'd be a team effort - not one person doing everything.
Why don't you go play someone good w/ a team of new players and see how that goes for you, since you are 'amazing.' |

if you have the artifact people are defending you if you are attacking you have people to attack someone with you.

the new maps are way too large and don't play that well
as for the idea, if possible they can just script it similar to a call of duty engine where if a player is standing near a certain spawnpoint the other team will spawn at another place... though that's probably not possible
just leave it as it is but increase the respawn delay on artifact only, maybe |
