every time you want it to grow increase its size or if you're making something out of many parts make a model of stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 of growth and put them in serverstorage then when you want it to grow destroy the old one and clone the new one into workspace |

Lol'd. I see you're in a tycoon. And want to make something similar to it.
Don't worry. When you get your tycoon, and understand how tycoons work. You'll be able to "grow plants" with ease. Just add a different model. |

well uh its a bit like animation you have to make many images to make one moving image the computer has no imagination; unless you write code to make it generate new plants it isn't going to have a clue how to make the plants unless you want to write that code which would be far more difficult you can't make it generate plants for you
everything in programming must be completely specific otherwise the computer won't know what to do |

First you need to figure out HOW it grows, like does all dimensions of it grow or just one?
If so, I'd do this:
function Grow(part, growthSize, growthSpeed) -- set part to the part you wanna grow, growthSize to the size you want the part to grow to, and growthSpeed to amount of studs it grows in a second for currentGrowth = 0, growthSpeed, growthSize do part.Size = Vector3.new(part.Size.X,(part.Size.Y + currentGrowth),part.Size.Z) wait(1) end end
Grow(game.Workspace.Part,10,1)
I set it to the Y axis, but if you follow the syntax you can set it to whatever you want. |
