that's because spoiler alert: most people don't need more than intel hd graphics
also there's AMD APU laptops which are decently powerful |

actually yea it kind of does
if no one's going to need a better gpu, there aren't going to be better gpus available save for from sources dedicated to people who need them
furthermore it's much less than 95%
furtherfurthermore intel hd isn't garbage
garbage would be some insanely outdated graphics processor from the 90s that literally wont even work witha modern computer |

nah man there's plenty of stuff with good laptop cards
you just need to know where to look
here's a good copy pasted list of good laptops
MIDRANGE GPUS (750M - 850M, AMD EQUIV.) ASUS X550JK-DH71 ASUS N56JN-EB71 Toshiba P55T 4K Dell Inspiron 15 7000 / 4K ASUS N550JK MSI GE60 & GP60 Lenovo Y70
GAMING ORIENTED (GTX 860M AND UP, AMD EQUIV.) Acer V15 Nitro Acer V15 Nitro 4K MSI GT60/GT70
it's all the best value good gpu laptops updated yesterday
and if you're going for one of those really big powerful laptops MSI laptops or some clevo-based laptops are all you need
