| It's not good for my social life, and whenever I try to quit, it pulls me back like a drug. God damn, I've tried time and time again, each time I've failed. |

"when did u start posting? not the crap posts, the real posts"
Pppph, god damn. I started doing good posts in around September-October of 2014.
@Zipo - Because I prioritize it, and I'm shy in real life, and staying on here definitely doesn't help, yet I'm more comfortable speaking with others on here. |

@Vedat - I've been trying, but I suck at confronting others. I've always been shy, and afraid that people won't like me. Even my friends have rejected me before, and I think I'm still hurt from that, and that was 2 years ago, almost 3. Still hurts, and it makes me not want to approach others. I will willingly speak with others if they approach me, but that doesn't happen. And my parents constantly say I have no friends, ad no social life, and yell at me, telling me to get friends, and get a life, and how I won't make a living playing video games so I should do something instead. |

| Yeah OT did that for me in 2013. All my spare time went to being online and foruming. I think it helps to not go online everyday, or at least that's what happened for me. |

| @blue - Generally I don't, but whenever I do have free time, even when I'm doing other things like playing on my Xbox, I pretty much always hop over to the forums while waiting for things. It's like an addiction. |

| I don't believe it would help you to leave Off Topic. Maybe try approach someone. You are talking to people over the internet just fine, maybe this should take some off of your mind. |

"Maybe try to approach someone."
Already said, I hate doing it, and I fear it. That's not a negotiable option. |

| You're not going to be able to do it if you don't practice it. I was once really shy like that. But I accepted that I'm going to have to talk to some people. The more I did it, the easier it got for me. |

The more I do it, the worse it gets. I'm okay at approaching small groups of people, but any bigger, or smaller than 3-6, then I can't do it. |

I agree with what Vedat said, although it's okay if you only start off talking to one person. At least that one person is somebody. Eventually over time opening yourself to new people one at a time could ease down the addiction. (Although maybe this is too optimistic) |

| Talk to one person at a time. Then you get more used to it, then you are able to talk in bigger groups. Force yourself to do it. If you don't start talking to people you will not get over shyness. |

That's fine if you can only handle a certain amount of people to be around. Honestly can't deal with big groups of people to talk to, because eventually I'd start to feel like an outcast. |

I already feel like an outcast, so I guess sticking with small groups helps, because I get a bit more attention. Oh, and I mumble, and I'm generally really quiet and everyone has to point it out, and all my flaws. Like how I'm sorry hairy, and constantly nagging about my imperfections. |
