Ever wanted to have water that looks like it's moving without having to put up with the terrain water, and you don't want to/can't simply resize the water? Why not have the ability to simply offset material textures? Seems like a fairly small addition that could make a reasonable difference, I guess. I'd use the texture object for this, but I want specular reflection in my water texture. |
