Question: is it possible to access the message of a user through his/her HopperBin tool? if so, how? (Trying to make an effect happen onButton1Down if the player chats a certain thing via HopperBin) |

player.Chatted:connect(function(msg)
end)
Also onButton1Down isn't an event, MouseButton1Down / MouseButton1Click are. |

In addition, hopper bins are everything but deprecated and are not recommended for use and have been out of date for quite a while now.
Instead, consider using local mouse = player:GetMouse() and continue on with that. |

This fully fixed my problem! Thank you for your help, and for further explanation, I am using onButton1Down as a function with the use of the mouse. Ex: mouse.Button1Down:connect(function() onButton1Down(mouse) end) Thanks a lot! |

| Oh yeah, it's a hopperbin, forgot and was getting confused with custom user functions for the MouseButton1Down event. |
