Maybe the Pirate era? Or the Victorian era??
Imagine it. Instead of school, you are going to become a knight or a pirate like your father. You have giant ships. Bountys. Real freedom. Rebellious times. Everything is off-centered! Life was so amazing over 500 years ago. You look out your 'window' and see a pirate flag coming to your base and you can freely charge at them with a cutlass.. Life was so awesome back then.. Would you rather live in those times or live here now |

| I really, really hate to be a killjoy right now, but most of us would be peasants living in poverty and filth. |

| True, but life would be sorta like that. There would be cons, but there would still be more pros to back it up. It would be very interesting and I would totally pay 100000 to visit there for a month or so |

| I know.. a lot of us would be peasants. Pretty much all of us except 1 in a million.. I do want to visit it, but I really want to learn more about it. See a video of it.. It'd be really cool.. i want to find my ancestors from those periods |

| Instead of going to school everyday.. You claim new land everyday with your captain!! Instead of doing math (which I actually love) everday.. you find gold and trade your cutlass for a sword stick. |

| Since you're interested in old civilizations, you should research them more and write a book about it. :) It could even be a fiction book with a historically accurate setting. |

yes there were thousands of uncurable diseases which would suck. that makes it harder for people to enjoy living in those times and waking up everyday on the sea or in a castle-type-home. Christopher Columbus himself died from a sea-disease |
