@Scot
Nope, not at all. I got this off of my homework, which was about a lesson a week ago. Are you in 8th grade geometry? |

I know what your talking about but thats not exactly what I learned in the past week, I knew that already
Find the Area of A regular Hexagon with a side length of 20
And the Formula is A= 1/2ap

@Deter
I don't know how I would be able to make an image for you. The only givens in the question are that the shape is a regular decagon, and it has a perimeter of 60 meters. |

@scot why would you use trig for this? |

360/10= 36 as the angle of radius, so 36/2, 18, witch is not a 45,45,90 or a 30,60,90, so I have to use trig later, will be angle of apothum triangle
60/10 = 6(Side leanth)
Apothum will divde side in half so the known number on the triangle will be 3
I want to know the apothum next so I need to use the 3 and the 18 using trig, as 3 is op 18 and apoth is hypotinus ( It might be Adjasent, Not wanting to check) making it Sin18=3/x (if a is adjasent then it will be tan18= 3/x
I am to lazy to do it though |
