You've always enjoyed helping others, even at your own expense. Today is no exception; you're off helping the student council deliver stacks of papers after classes. Sometimes, you kind of feel like people like the student council manipulate you for your generosity.
You try not to let it bother you.
And so, while you're slogging along with your giant stack of papers... you hear something ominous coming from Class 206. It's a bit farther along in the hall, and it's not in the area that you're supposed to be taking these papers; but something about these noises make you uneasy.
A. Check it out. Who knows, somebody could be doing something incriminating! B. Stay on your course. There ain't no way you're gonna go over there, not when you have all these papers to deliver. |

You've got a due course, and you're not letting some weird noise distract you. As you slowly trudge down the hall, the mysterious noises seem to fade away. You finally arrive at your destination, the computer lab, and set your last stack down.
You wipe your brow and let out a sigh of relief, absorbed with a feeling of monumental success. With your swift deliveries, the student council will be able to get their work done quicker.
You begin walking out of the classroom and you make sure you steer clear of Class 206; who knows what could have been going down in there? You push the main door open and let the sunlight stream through. There's a light breeze with a few clouds in the sky. It might rain later today.
How do you plan on getting home?
A. I have a car parked in the school, it's old and it looks as if it's been used for the past thirty years, but it works. You bought it a month or two ago, leaving you broke. B. I plan on taking the bus, I'm not rich enough to afford a car. However, I do have a good sum of money to spend in my free-time because of it. C. I just walk. Cheapest way, right? Takes longer though. |

The bus stop may be disgusting and full of smoke, but nothing persuades you like the feeling of all the cash you've saved from not buying a car. As you sit on a bench waiting for the bus to come, you find yourself smiling at all the pretty sights above you.
It's March, meaning that things are more or less alive and beautiful. There's a butterfly flying nearby you and a green leaf slowly falling into a puddle. How could things be any more tranquil?
Suddenly, a loud BEEP! comes out of nowhere, and your eyes are sucked into this terrifying scene: a man is walking in front of the incoming bus, not noticing what his possible fate may be. Within moments, he would be torn to shreds by the giant vehicle.
Your eyes switch back to the dainty reality that now seems way more menacing. What did you just see? There was certainly no bus nor man, and the people nearby you seem to be absorbed in their phones or books.
You try to push away what had just happened to you until you see a man with startling likeness to the one who would get injured by the bus. He seems to be trying to get somewhere, and in a hurry...
You can hear the bus coming.
A. Tackle the man! You've never played football, but you have the idea at least. B. Scream! Who cares if you look crazy, you've got a life to save! C. Watch in shock. You have absolutely no clue as to what is going on. |

A.
You run as if you have never run before, feeling the adrenaline flow through you. You jump onto the man before he could get in front of the bus. He's saved.
He looks at you with mixed shock and terror, then realizes the situation. You get off of him and he thanks you deeply.
"My god... you've saved my life! I-I'll repay you for this someday, kid." He gives you a hug before he gets into the bus. You don't really know how to feel about his response, is it too little or two much?
You sit in you seat when it finally hits you. You literally just saw the future and saved somebody's life. You're flooded with a mixture of emotions as you realize that this wasn't your imagination; this was real.
When the bus stops at your place, you waste no time trying to get to your room. Before you can actually achieve this feat however, your mom calls for you. She's bent over a desk of letters and smiles at you wearily.
"Hey. How was your day?"
A. "It was okay. You?" You think it's best to take your mind off things by dealing with other people's problems. B. "Yeah, it was fine. Just a bit tiresome." You might as well tell her half the truth. C. Ignore her and proceed upstairs. |
