My friend of around 5 months has liked me for a while, and I've had the time to think about what I want to say, but I'm not sure how to tell her, you get me?
I think it's best to say it over the internet, because if she needs time alone it's easier for her, and her friends are there if she needs to talk to anybody else.
What would be the best way to say it? I think easing her into it with a normal conversation would be better, but finding the right time is annoying, man. |

I've been in the same situation.
It's very difficult, you could try making yourself seem like less boyfriend material but it's hard to pull of because you can end up loosing them as a friend. |

But I'm telling her so I don't have to FHRITP, life is scary :'(

I've tried my best, but thank you for the suggestion, I've been less available and more childish lately but it just makes her think she's done something wrong.
"don't tell her over the internet"
But mommmm, if I tell her in school or on a weekend she'll be stuck seeing me all day, and that's going to be a horrible feeling if she wants a break from talking for a while. |

Be honest with her. If she truly has feelings for you, she'll understand.

"Just tell her but don't be a jerk"
I don't want to be a jerk about it, she's a really nice person, and even though I don't feel that way about her but she's definitely an awesome friend. I'm just planning on telling her that I'm glad that she's my friend, but I don't feel that way about her and if she needs time alone I feel her. |

Just, tell her No, I'm sorry. and then if her friends come around and start teasing you about it, asking you the same question in a joke, just...
Tell them you know what they're doing, and they need to stop.
If all else fails, just go with their plan, and trick them into thinking you actually mean it... Afterwards, make a 360 spin dash outta there. It might be effective to say HAN SOLO IT, so that they get the impression that you're a nerd, and will stop talking to you.
11/10 works. |

| @Gin, a 360 spin would result in you running into them... |

| Yus. in turn, knock them over like a completely inconsiderate fool, and then run for your life... Make sure you blackmail them into not telling anyone, or you might get in trouble. |

"Well what are the reason that you don't want to be in a relationship?"
She's an awesome person, and we have a lot of common interests, but I don't feel like our personalities would go well together in a relationship. We're both really childish which doesn't work as well as it sounds outside of a friendship, I'm more of a lots of time alone person and she's very talkative, it's a really long list!
"Not even friends with benefits?"
Not even, I'm sorry, forgive me father :(
@Burndays
Thank you, that's a relief! I think she'll react the same, she told my friend she'd be heartbroken but she'd still be my friend, I'm just hoping that it was an overstatement.
@Ginjji
I'll try my best, captain, thanks! She's not the kind of person who'd get her friends to say anything to me about it, but if they do, there's going to be some serious kung fu fighting. |
