How do you feel our employees treat the customer?
I believe Kestrel has one of the better customer-service programs out there. While there are always bound to be some unruly customers that need discipline, for the most part Kestrel deals with trollers firmly but fairly. In addition, despite customer complaints on the server's comments board, I'd like to note that for the most part Kestrel has been firm, from my experiences, in dealing with disrespectful employees. Instead of complaining on the board, actually notify a higher rank about the specifics of the incident.
Do you feel that Kestrel has a wide array of clothing types?
There's only one I feel really should be addressed: Though I can't speak personally to this (due to the fact I'm male), I have heard from female customers that they feel that the variety of female clothing is not enough and they're disappointed with how small a section there is. I suppose one way of looking at this is that most male clothing is gender-neutral (females wear t-shirts and jeans as much as males), meaning males by default have greater clothing options. If the female-only section is expanded, it would give females (and kilt-wearing males, for the Scots out there :P) more personal options for considerations.

Well, my views on this are mixed. On one hand, I fully understand the need for a small, reasonable number of employees being promoted each week. My concern with this isn't so much increasing the number of scheduled trainings each week, but instead when the trainings are being held.
Quite frankly, having a single scheduled training at a single scheduled time every week is plain stupid. It rewards employees who just happen to live in the correct timezone to attend. It would be a fair assumption to hypothesize a majority of ROBLOX users are American or European, right? Well, the incredulously early time the trainings begin put even employees in the Pacific (say, British Columbia in Canada south to California in America)Timezones and the Alaskan and Hawaiian Timezones (The United States' Alaska and Hawaii, along with associated American Pacific Territories) at a disadvantage. All things considered, this doesn't begin to consider the users on the other side of the planet in the middle of the night!
I feel that the fairest solution would be to keep the training schedule still one day a week, on Saturday, but change the time the trainings are held. One week, sure, it could be at 7:30 am PST, but another week it could be at 6:30 *PM* PST. By providing a revolving time window for trainings, it allows more employees to be considered while still allowing only a select (and more varied) number of promotions each week,
Do you feel management is approachable?
I do, for the most part. The only concern I have is that, without explicitly saying so, it is *not* self-evident that Chief Operations Officers handle complaints. The title is too vague to be evident to customers and employees that issues are handled by them. Even despite Kestrel's past notifications of the COO's job description and the urging to contact them, an easier and more effective change would be to literally outsource the complaint task or amend the name: 'Employee Affairs' or 'Employee Resources' would be a much more evident rank.
What events and activities can Kestrel do to improve?
I have missed a couple KesTalks recently, so I don't feel I can accurately comment on the content as of now. However, that being said, a more formalized way of giving a synopsis for KesTalks (and other events) for employees who missed them would be appreciated. Perhaps an edited (to remove superflouous comments) chat log to then post somewhere (off-site, perhaps?) would be a possibility.
I've tried to be as thorough as possible with the comments without obfuscating any important point. I appreciate the chance Kestrel Management has given patrons and employees to share their views.

The sad thing is that there are going to be so many trolls..... Anyway, I'm a Senior Associate and have been at Kestrel for about a month.
1.) I feel that most of our employees treat customers well, while the rest either are clueless or naturally mean.
2.) I think that Kestrel doesn't have a wide enough scope of clothing. We should have more sports (not tactical) attire in the homestore. We should also have more female clothing.

• How do you feel our employees treat the customer? Poorly. I used to see employees trolling customers. Customers would be impatient and employees would complain. Honestly, we shouldn't be complaining that they're impatient, we're supposed to helping them. I don't think we greet people enough. We just awkwardly sit in the CS. People need to walk around and talk to people! Shopping at Kestrel isn't as enjoyable as it used to be with the old employees. • Do you feel that Kestrel has a wide array of clothing types? Yes and no. Yes, we have a lot. No, we hardly have any womans. There's one little section and many of we woman feel kind of left out. Sure, we CAN buy polos but a dress would be nicer. I think we need more female designers because right now all I see are male clothing. Also, I see a lot of clothing repeated. One day, someone will make a green polo shirt. The next, they will make it in 20 other colors. Too much repetition. • Do you feel Kestrel provides opportunity for employees to advance (or be hired)? No. I worked here. I have been waiting for BoD for a long time. But of course, you HAVE to have Skype, which bothers me. Can we not just communicate through meetings? It's not fair for people who can't use social media. I trained BoDs. Also, I don't like how everything is set. Customers and staff members complain all the time that time that meetings or trainings or interviews are held are when they are at school or an activity. Really, we should just message each other. • Do you feel management is approachable? Kind of. Half of us are great- they are friendly and helpful. The other half is more on the shy side which ins't a bad thing but customers want to have a good time at the HS. • What events and activities can Kestrel do to improve? Really nothing. I think it's all fine. I just wish you would change the times to work for everyone.
My opinion is rude, but this is why I quit kestrel. I used to be an SC just last month. I was an SC for 3 months.

• How do you feel our employees treat the customers?| I think that overall the customer service at Kestrel is pretty good. However, I have noticed while working at the HS ( I am a Senior Associate ), that some of the employees have been a tad rude to customers. This has happened only a few times out of the about six months that I've been working for Kestrel. This should be cracked down on. Whether Kestrel starts being a bit more picky in the hiring process, or the admins be more aware of this at the HS, these employees need to be corrected. That being said, most everyone I've observed and talked to/ worked with personally has been very nice thus far. Nonetheless, one too many customer-employee arguments have started. This needs to be controlled or better yet, stopped completely. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Do you feel that Kestrel has a wide array of clothing types?| Kestrel has a very good variety of clothing. However, since it is geared mostly toward men's suits, I feel there often isn't enough of a selection for women. I just think the designers should try to keep a good balance of men-to-women clothing. Now, I may be a little biased, being a girl and all, but this doesn't seem too unreasonable. My only complaint is that as far as training goes, I think more times should be available. I don't know for sure, I believe PST training was 7:30 am. I think this is a bit early, especially for a Saturday, seeing as most schooled aged kids would be sleeping in. Plus, Saturday is the only day training is available. This would very much so limit certain employees in when they would be able to attend training. And with no training comes no promotions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Do you feel management is approachable?| As I said earlier, I've only been with Kestrel for six months. So, I've never really needed to approach management about anything, but as far as I've noticed, no one in management seems like a jerk or anything. I'm not the best person to ask about this, but I haven't had any issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • What events and activities can Kestrel do to improve?| I think that doing some sort of annual party for everyone in Kestrel would be really fun. It would give everyone an opportunity to get to know the Kestrel community better. This would be especially good for me, because I still haven't met everyone. Doing an event to allow everyone to voice some of their ideas and visions for Kestrel would be nice as well. Sorry these ideas are very vague. I don't have many thoughts in this aspect. |

Even though I provided some thorough ideas earlier in the thread, I'd like to echo a sentiment that Muddypuppy3 emphasized:

Though it's obvious that I'm not anywhere near meriting consideration for any rank that requires such means at this point, I've always found it confounding overall the need for offsite material for communications and record-keeping. Again, it's overly selective and, in the case of Skype, generates cliquish tendencies among frequent contacts. I certainly am not implying this is what is occurring at Kestrel now, simply what I have observed in the past. Skype is an absolute killer for anyone wishing to maintain a semblance of inclusiveness.

Hello! I'm an Assistant Manager at Kestrel, Littlemix. I will soon become a Manager, I hope! Anyways, thanks to DrReli and all the admins for letting me at this point. Anyways..
• How do you feel our employees treat the customer?
The Kestrel employees provide the customers with respect. I feel that they try their hardest to being them a smile, or at least get a thanks. There are stubborn customers, though, and it is tough not to rage on them. But, most of the time, the Kestrel employees stick through it, and get the customer satisfied. So, I think we're holding them off pretty good, and I'd say they treat them fairly.
• Do you feel that Kestrel has a wide array of clothing types?
I do, actually. Kestrel, to me, has a lot of suits. I feel it's strongest for suits. It's polo's are pretty much a big deal aswell. People look at these two the most. The women's selection is struggling, though. In v3 and v4 the women's selection wasn't emphasized as I thought it should be. It only had eight or nine outfits. In v5, I was actually surprised. It brought a lot more light onto women. I think they improved that. They should carry many different types of clothing, like Halloween costumes! It could have it's own costume section even. Anyways, I'm happy the way it is.
• Do you feel Kestrel provides opportunity for employees to advance (or be hired)?
It does. Interviews are hosted during a timely schedule, so people have a 50% chance of getting hired, in my eyes. That is if your soul actually fits Kestrel. Trainings are different. They're hosted WAY to much in my opinion, but it's hosted so much, that I feel it's easy to advance. Almost too easy. So, they are doing a pretty good job at this.

Yes, I do.
• What events and activities can Kestrel do to improve?
I think they could add a lot. I know they've done this ONCE before, but Kestrel's got Talent! It'd be quite grand. They can have a game day, where we can go to seperate games in groups of four. It'd be fun!
I feel that my questionare helps a lot. Thanks for making this Improvement forum a thing!
