Sorry, it's sort of true :/ The game's not all that innovative and the gametypes are even cookie cutter copies of oddball(Except you're using an "artifact" and not a skull.)
I understand that owen takes a lot of inspiration from halo with WIJ builds but jesus this looks almost like a roblox copy with like one or two very minor tweaks. He might as well go the full mile and call it halo :/. |

I wouldn't necessarily say it's so much as bad as it is completely un innovative.
It certainly brings new things to roblox but if I want to play halo I'll just go play halo.
I'd probably be more appreciative of the game if he tried to ditch his sad attempt at making it appear original and just branded it as "Halo-Roblox Edition" or something like that.

Please quote where I make any notion to this.

Also I'm not so much bothered with it's similarity to halo as much as it's attempt at appearing original.
I wish owen would've just gone the full mile and branded it a "Halo Roblox Edition" and used Halo weapons instead of branding itself as "Hex" and using original weapons while still using halo sounds, gametypes and general gameplay. |

"Bless. You're trying so hard to appear intelligent."
Please tell me how? Have I tried to decypher Plato or pose solutions to end world hunger?
Or have I posted a long deep question that questions one's humanity?
No?
Oh, that's right. I'm posting my opinion on a game that is a Halo clone. Nothing wrong with it, but it does irk me that he's not just going the full mile and branding it as a halo clone. |

It's the tone of how you speak. Perhaps if you tried to be less condescending?
What Owen (*and*) SilentSwords have done is brought the fun of Halo to ROBLOX, as many other developers have done with their respective games. If it was identical to Halo in every way it would leave little room for them to add their own things. It has not been explicitly stated as being inspired by Halo, but at the same time it hasn't been stated that it's a fully original game - and it's pretty obvious where the inspiration has come from, as many of the people that have played it have pointed it out.
Can't you just be satisfied that they have brought a good game to ROBLOX players that may otherwise be unable to experience it. What they have created using the ROBLOX platform has been very well designed, built, and scripted. |

LOL!
done.
just so done.
How the hell do I have a tone over typed words.
And yes, I see what they're trying to do, what ticks me off is their inability to just simply call it Halo: Roblox Edition instead of going off and calling it hex while borrowing just about ever idea and asset from halo itself.
It's really, REALLY annoying. |

Exactly why I think they should've just gone the full mile instead of making a sort of half willed attempt at making it appear original.
It's sort of like VAK when he took Helghast lore and tried to mix it with cyborgs and cloning stuff but borrowed just about every other asset from Killzone lore to make his clan appear somewhat original. |

"adjective 1. of, based on, or serving as a hypothesis."
There ya go.
Don't go off misusing it again.
And yes, NOW I am being a bit of an ass, but damn, couldn't help that one. |

Something tells me you don't know the definitions of the word tone
"2. The general character or attitude of a place, piece of writing, situation, etc."
or
"the general mood or main qualities of something: For example: I didn't like the jokey tone of the article - I thought it inappropriate."
There ya go. |

If you mean as in the tone of my writing then it would be more sarcastic than anything else.
Last I checked it's pretty hard to determine if someone's "attempting to appear smart" through the tone of their writing.
That's usually discovered through false information, and overuse of big words but since this is instead an opinion there wouldn't be any of that now wouldn't there?

I can't be bothered to search it now but just go to a dictionary and look up the word condescending and/or condescending tone.
I apologise if I fit that definition right now but there's no other way. |

"condescending and/or condescending tone."
Now you're using tone as in tone of voice... which again gives me every right to laugh at your idiotic comment.
Because I can't even begin to state how I would write a condescending piece and convey that tone of voice unless it was a lecture, and even then that can be interpreted in many ways.
This for example can be read in a condescending tone of voice, an authoritative tone of voice, or an emotionless tone of voice.
Again, if anything I meant this as sarcasm, which again is hard to convey over the internet as that too requires tone of voice. |
